Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas manfaat hasil belajar fashion merchandising sebagai kesiapan menjadi pengelola bisnis fashion di department store. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data mengenai manfaat hasil belajar fashion merchandising ditinjau dari konsep dasar, penguasaan job description, penguasaan materi fashion merchandising, dan penguasaan keterampilan dalam perencanaan fashion merchandising. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Kriya Tekstil & Mode Universitas Telkom Bandung berjumlah 30 orang dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel purposive. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada umumnya lebih dari setengahnya responden menyatakan terdapat manfaat hasil belajar fashion merchandising sebagai kesiapan menjadi pengelola bisnis fashion di department store, ditinjau dari konsep dasar, penguasaan job description fashion merchandiser, penguasaan materi mengenai fashion merchandiser, dan penguasaan dalam perencanaan fashion merchandising. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah peserta didik sudah optimal dalam memanfaatkan hasil belajar, karena pada umumnya sudah mencapai lebih dari setengahnya peserta didik menguasai kompetensi dalam mata kuliah fashion merchandising. This study discusses the benefits of learning outcomes fashion merchandising as a readiness to become a fashion bussiness manager in a department store. The purpose of this study for obtain data on the benefits of studying fashion merchandising results in terms of the basic concepts, mastery of the job description, skill mastery fashion merchandising, fashion merchandising planning and control. The method used is descriptive method using data collected with a questionnaire. Samples were students of Textile & Fashion Craft Telkom University Bandung were 30 and the sample used is purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that in general more than half of the respondents stated that there is benefit outcomes study fashion merchandising as a readiness to become a manager in a department store fashion business, in terms of the basic concepts, mastery of the job description of fashion merchandiser, fashion merchandiser mastery of the material, and mastery in fashion design merchandising. Conclusions of the research is already optimal learners in utilizing learning outcomes, because in general has reached more than half of the learners master the competencies in fashion merchandising courses.
