Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil riset, ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dapat dijadikan alat untuk mengukur sekaligus membangun tingkat executive function dan visuospatial pada anak dengan autisme (ASD) walaupun dimensi yang paling penting untuk anak dengan autis adalah komunikasi dan interaksi sosial, namun kedua dimensi di atas bekerja secara sistemik memberikan pengaruh pada sistim berpikir anak dengan autis untuk menilai dan merespon lingkungan sosialnya, namun tidak mudah mengajarkan matematika untuk mereka, dibutuhkan pendekatan yang berdaya guna untuk mereka, maka seting pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan untuk peserta didik ASD adalah di kelas inklusif dalam desain pembelajaran koperatif yang berpusat pada peserta didik serta penggunaan teknologi blended/hybrid learning untuk semua peserta didik. Self-efficacy peserta didik harus ditumbuhkan dalam proses belajar sebagai daya dorong kemauan serta kemempuan peserta didik ASD untuk memahami sekaligus mengerjakan materi matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain sebuah pendekatan guna meningkatkan kemampuan matematika peserta didik dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) dengan seting kelas inklusif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA inklusi di Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat, dengan partisipan 3 peserta didik ASD. Metodologi penelitian in menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dan desaian rancangan mix-method dalam menyusun pendekatan baru yang disebut TEA. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman matematika peserta didik dengan ASD meningkat sekaligus terbentuk self-efficacy nya dalam kegiatan kelompok belajar yang inklusif setelah guru menerapkan pendekatan TEA di kelas. Temuan dalam penelitian berupa prosedur pendekatan TEA dan rekomendasi platform LMS yang inklusif dalam pendekatan TEA. Based on the results of the research, it was found that learning mathematics can be used as a tool to measure as well as build the level of executive function and visuospatial in children with autism (ASD). Although the most important dimensions for children with autism are communication and social interaction, the two dimensions above work systematically. Have an influence on the thinking system of children with autism to assess and respond to their social environment, but it is not easy to teach mathematics to them, an efficient approach is needed for them, so the recommended learning setting for ASD students is in an inclusive class in cooperative learning – students centered learning and the use of blended/hybrid learning technology for all students. Self-efficacy of students must be grown in the learning process as a driving force for the willingness and ability of ASD students to understand and work on mathematical material. This study aims to design an approach to improve the mathematical ability of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with an inclusive classroom setting. This research was conducted at an inclusive high school in Bogor Regency, West Java, with three ASD students as participants. This research methodology uses Research and Development (R&D) and a mix-method design in developing a new approach called TEA. The results showed that the increase in the mathematical understanding of students with ASD increased as well as formed their self-efficacy in inclusive learning group activities after the teacher applied the TEA approach in the classroom. The findings in the study are in the form of TEA approach procedures and LMS platforms that are inclusive in the TEA approach
