Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan metode kata lembaga terhadap peningkatan kemampuan artikulasi anak tunarungu kelas 2 SDLB di SLB B Sumbersari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan Single Subject Research (SSR). Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu desain A-B-A’. Subjek penelitian merupakan seorang anak tunarungu kelas 2 SDLB di SLB B Sumbersari. Pengumpulan data dengan cara melakukan tes kepada anak menggunakan instrument pengucapan konsonan /m/. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik dan tabel. Komponen yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan artikulasi anak tunarungu setelah di intervensi menggunakan metode kata lembaga. Pengaruh positif ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan mean level dari ketiga fase. Mulai dari fase baseline-1 (A-1) dengan mean level sebesar 36,11%, fase intervensi (B) dengan mean level sebesar 58,89%, dan fase baseline-2 (A-2) dengan mean level sebesar 87,04%. Kemudian, besarnya pengaruh intervensi menggunakan metode kata lembaga dapat dilihat dari persentase overlap. Semakin kecil persentase overlap, maka semakin baik pengaruh intervensi. Hasil persentase overlap sebesar 0%. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode kata lembaga mempengaruhi peningkatan kemampuan artikulasi anak tunarungu kelas 2 SDLB di SLB B Sumbersari sebesar 100%. Direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan artikulasi anak dengan hambatan pendengaran, guru dapat menggunakan metode kata lembaga dalam pembelajaran. This study aims to determine how much influence the use of the institutional word method has on improving the articulation ability of hearing impairment children in grade 2 SDLB at SLB B Sumbersari. This research is an experimental study with a Single Subject Research (SSR) approach. The research design used is the A-B-A’ design. The research subject is a hearing impairment child in grade 2 SDLB at SLB B Sumbersari. Collecting data by conducting tests on children using the instrument pronunciation of the consonant /m/. The data obtained were analyzed through descriptive statistics and displayed in the form of graphs and tables. The components analyzed in this study are analysis under conditions and between conditions. The results showed that there was a positive effect on increasing the articulation ability of hearing impairment children after the intervention using the institutional word method. The positive effect is indicated by an increase in the mean level of the three phases. Starting from the baseline-1 phase (A-1) with a mean level of 36.11%, the intervention phase (B) with a mean level of 58.89%, and the baseline-2 phase (A-2) with a mean level of 87, 04%. Then, the magnitude of the influence of the intervention using the institutional word method can be seen from the percentage of overlap. The smaller the percentage of overlap, the better the effect of the intervention. The result of the overlap percentage is 0%. Thus, the application of the institutional word method affects the articulation ability of hearing impairment children in grade 2 SDLB at SLB B Sumbersari by 100%. It is recommended to improve the articulation ability of children with hearing impairments, teachers can use the institutional word method in learning.
