Abstract

Pada abad 21 kecakapan hidup yang harus dikuasai peserta didik salah satunya literasi finansial. Literasi finansial penting diterapkan karena literasi finansial merupakan salah satu isu Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Sekolah dasar memiliki peran agar anak dapat memiliki kecakapan hidup mengenai literasi finansial di kemudian hari. Namun fakta di lapangan menunjukkan materi literasi finansial belum masuk pada pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi finansial siswa sekolah dasar pada materi kegiatan ekonomi yang dilatarbelakangi oleh penerapan materi literasi finansial yang masih rendah. Secara analisis kurikulum materi IPS di sekolah dasar kelas IV tidak ada redaksi terkait literasi finansial. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran tersebut salah satunya pengembangan bahan ajar. Bahan ajar ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode Design and Development (DnD) dengan model yang dikembangkan Richey dan Klein. Model yang dikembangkan ini memiliki tiga tahap, tahap perencanaan (planning), produksi (production), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga ahli materi Pendidikan IPS di sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu studi literatur, dan validasi ahli. Instrumen penelitian yang dibutuhkan yaitu lembar analisis materi pembelajaran, lembar struktur bahan ajar, dan lembar angket. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu angket uji pakar ahli materi dengan presentase 84,4% dari ahli materi 1, lalu 83,3% dari ahli materi 2, dan 82,2% dari ahli materi 3. Skor rata-rata dari para ahli materi sebesar 83% dengan kategori sangat baik yang menunjukkan bahan ajar IPS untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi finansial pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar layak digunakan. In the 21st century, one of the life skills that students must master is financial literacy. Financial literacy is important to implement because financial literacy is one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) issues. Elementary schools have a role so that children can have life skills regarding financial literacy in the future. However, the facts on the ground show that financial literacy material has not yet been included in learning in elementary schools. This study aims to develop teaching materials to improve the financial literacy ability of elementary school students on the material of economic activities which is motivated by the application of financial literacy material which is still low. Based on the analysis of the social studies curriculum in grade IV elementary schools, there is no editorial related to financial literacy. One solution to overcome these learning problems is the development of teaching materials. This teaching material was developed using the Design and Development (DnD) method with the model developed by Richey and Klein. This developed model has three stages, planning, production, and evaluation. The participants in this study consisted of three experts on social studies education materials in elementary schools. Data collection techniques used in this research are literature study, and expert validation. The research instruments needed are learning material analysis sheets, teaching material structure sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The results of this study are a test questionnaire of material experts with a percentage of 84.4% from material experts 1, then 83.3% from material experts 2, and 82.2% from material experts 3. The average score of material experts is 83% with a very good category which shows that social studies teaching materials to improve financial literacy skills in fourth grade elementary school students are suitable for use.
