Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa yang masih rendah dalam materi perkalian dan pembagian pecahan, hal ini disebabkan karena bahan ajar yang digunakan monoton,berfokus pada materi, serta kurang melibatkan siswa dalam memahami materi perkalian dan pembagian, maka bahan ajar yang ada harus segera diperbaiki. Dari permaslaahan tersebut penulis berupaya untuk mgembangkan bahan berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education. Pada penelitian ini Penulis menggunakan metode design and Development dengan mengacu pada Langkah model PPE (planning, production and Evaluation) yang dikembangkan oleh Richey & Klein (2007). Bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan kemudian di uji oleh ahli materi, ahli Bahasa dan ahli desain, untuk menilai apakah produk yang dikembangkan layak digunakan atau tidak. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) telah dikembangkan bahan ajar materi perkalian dan pembagian pecahan berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education untuk kelas V Sekolah Dasar yang dapat digunakan dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran (2) hasil dari penilaian ketiga ahli menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan mendapat skor dari ahi materi 93,3% dengan kategori sangat baik, ahli Bahasa mendapatkan skror 97% dengan katergori sangat baik dan ahli desain mendapat skor 94,5% dengan kategori sangat baik. dengan demikian rata-rata dari ketiga ahli tersebut mendapat skror 94,9% dengan kategori sangat baik yang atinya bahan ajar materi perkalian dan pembagian pecahan berbasi pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education layak digunakan. The study is in the background by students' still low learning outcomes in multiplication materials and fractional division, This is because the teaching materials used monotonously, focusing on the material, and less involve students in understanding the material multiplication and division, Then the existing teaching materials must be repaired immediately. From the study, the author seeks to develop materials based on Realistic Mathematics Education. In this study, the author used design and development methods with reference to the PPE (planning, production and Evaluation) model developed by Richey & Klein (2007). Teaching materials that have been developed are then tested by material experts, linguists and design experts, to assess whether the product developed is worth using or not. The results of this study are: (1) has been developed materials to study the material of multiplication and fractional division based on realistic mathematics education approach for grade V elementary school that can be used in supporting the learning process. (2) the results of the assessment of the three experts stated that the teaching materials developed received a score from 93.3% material with excellent categories, Linguists get 97% credit with excellent categories and design experts score 94.5% with excellent categories. Thus, the average of the three experts gets a skror of 94.9% with an excellent category that atinya teaching materials
