Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) menemukannbeberapa permasalahan yaitu: 1) peserta didik sering mengalami keterlambatan selama proses pembelajaran jarak jauh secara online; 2) guru mengalami masa transisi dalam mengajar secara online sehingga belum optimal dalam proses pembelajaran jarak jauh; dan 3) kualitas pembelajaran dirasa menurun selama pembelajaran jarak jauh secara online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program supervisi akademik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi supervisi akademik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah: 1) perencanaan program supervisi akademik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) memperlihatkan adanya identifikasi perencanaan, perumusan tujuan dan krieria pencapaian tujuan, penyusunan jadwal, penentuan pendekatan dan teknik, serta penyusunan instrumen supervisi akademik; 2) pelaksanaan program supervisi akademik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) dilakukan dengan melalui supervisi perangkat pembelajaran, penelaahan RPP, penggunaan pendekatan dan teknik supervisi terhadap pembelajaran jarak jauh, dan supervisi penilaian hasil belajar siswa; 3) evaluasi terhadap proses supervisi akademik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) dilakukan mulai dari analisis data hasil supervisi, pemberian umpan balik hasil analisis data, pemberian indak lanjut hasil supervisi, penyusunan dampak/outcome supervisi, dan penyusunan dokumen laporan supervisi; 4) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi program supervisi akademik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) terbagi menjadi dua faktor yaitu faktor pendukung diantaranya: 1) motivasi guru, 2) lokasi sekolah, 3) semangat dan motivasi supervisor, 4) kebijakan dan dukungan yayasan, 5) Infrastruktur pendukung (jaringan dan IT), 6) komunikasi yang baik, 7) kompetensi supervisor, dan 8) sarana supervisi. Sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah: 1) motivasi guru rendah, 2) lokasi rumah guru yang terpencil, 3) belum semua guru adaptif dengan cepat terhadap teknologi, 4) orang tua yang tidak bisa mendampingi anaknya belajar, 5) infrastruktur yang lemah, 6) supervisor yang kurang kompeten, 5) pengolahan data kurang efektif jika tanpa platform, 6) jaringan internet yang kurang stabil, dan 7) jadwal kalender akademik yang sering berubah. This research is motivated by a preliminary study conducted at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) which found several problems, namely: 1) students often experience delays during the online distance learning process; 2) teachers experience a transition period in teaching online so that they are not optimal in the distance learning process; and 3) the quality of learning is felt to decrease during online distance learning. This study aims to describe the implementation of the academic supervision program in distance learning at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) which consists of planning, implementation, evaluation, and factors that influence academic supervision in distance learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research are: 1) planning of academic supervision programs in distance learning at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) shows the identification of planning, formulation of goals and criteria for achieving goals, preparation of schedules, determination of approaches and techniques, and preparation of academic supervision instruments; 2) the implementation of the academic supervision program in distance learning at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) is carried out through supervision of learning devices, review of lesson plans, use of approaches and supervising techniques for distance learning, and supervision of student learning outcomes assessments; 3) evaluation of the academic supervision process in distance learning at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) is carried out starting from the analysis of the supervised data, providing feedback on the results of data analysis, providing follow-up on the results of supervision, compiling the impact/outcome of supervision, and preparing documents. supervision report; 4) the factors that influence the implementation of the academic supervision program in distance learning at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (Boarding School) are divided into two factors, namely supporting factors including: 1) teacher motivation, 2) school location, 3) supervisor enthusiasm and motivation, 4) foundation policies and support, 5) supporting infrastructure (network and IT), 6) good communication, 7) supervisor competence, and 8) supervision facilities. While the inhibiting factors are: 1) low teacher motivation, 2) remote location of teachers' homes, 3) not all teachers adapt quickly to technology, 4) parents who cannot accompany their children to study, 5) weak infrastructure, 6) supervisors who are less competent, 5) data processing is less effective without a platform, 6) internet network is less stable, and 7) academic calendar schedule changes frequently.
