Abstract

ABSTRAK Stasiun televisi merupakan lembaga penyiaran atau tempat berkerja yang melibatkan kemampuan atau keahlian dalam bidang penyiaran yang berupaya menghasilkan siaran atau karya yang baik. Perancangan Stasiun Televisi ini didasari kebutuhan masyarakat. Berdasarkan data, elevisi masih menjadi media informasi yang paling dominan digunakan dibanding internet, radio dan media cetak. Masyarakat yang menonton televisi menunjukkan peningkatan dari 84,94% pada 2003 menjadi 93,02% pada 2018. Meskipun kebutuhan akan media televisi tinggi, hal ini tidak didasari dengan fasilitas yang memadai. Gedung-gedung pertelevisian tersebut kurang mewadahi beberapa kegiatan dalam dunia pertelevisian, seperti tempat pembelajaran broadcast, tempat latihan, dan beberapa studio lainnya. Pada wilayah perencanaan yaitu TVRI Jawa Barat. Gedung gedung sudah ada sejak puluhan tahun lalu tanpa adanya renovasi atau revitalisasi. Meskipun masih bertahan dan menjadi salah satu stasiun televisi berita dan edukasi terbaik, TVRI Jawa Barat masih perlu sarana dan prasarana yang membuat stasiun televisi ini dapat berkembang dan membuat berbagai program acara yang baru. Perancangan stasiun televisi ini menggunakan tema High Tech Architecture dan pendekatan sistem. Penerapan tema High Tech Architecture ini akan sangat cocok dengan tujuan perancangan stasiun televisi yaitu pengembangan teknologi. Dengan berdasarkan tema High Tech Architecture akan lebih mudah dalam mewujudkan sebuah stasiun televisi yang berteknologi tinggi serta menunjang kegiatan penyiaran. Kata kunci: Stasiun Televisi, TVRI Jawa Barat, High Tech Architecture ABSTRACT Television stations are broadcasting institutions or workplaces that involve skills or expertise in the broadcasting field which seek to produce good broadcasts or works. The design of this television station is based on the needs of the community. Based on the data, television is still the most dominant information media used compared to the internet, radio and print media. People who watch television show an increase from 84.94% in 2003 to 93.02% in 2018. Although the need for television media is high, this is not based on adequate facilities. These television buildings didn’t accommodate several activities in the world of television, such as broadcast learning places, practice sites, and several other studios. In the planning area, namely TVRI West Java. The building has been around for decades without renovation or revitalization. Even though it still survives and becomes one of the best news and education television stations, TVRI West Java still needs facilities and infrastructure that allow this television station to develop and create various new programs. The design of this television station uses the theme High Tech Architecture and a systems approach. The application of the High Tech Architecture theme will fit perfectly with the aim of designing television stations, namely technology development. Based on the High Tech Architecture theme, it will be easier to create a high-tech television station and support broadcasting activities.
