Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan isu pendidikan yang belum dapat meningkatkan keterampilan anak di abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru PAUD dalam membuat RPPH berbasis STEAM-PBL sebelum mengikuti metode Peer Teaching pada perkuliahan Pembelajaran Sains untuk Anak Usia Dini, mengidentifikasi kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru PAUD dalam membuat RPPH berbasis STEAM-PBL setelah mengikuti metode Peer Teaching pada perkuliahan Pembelajaran Sains untuk Anak Usia Dini, dan menganalisis signifikansi perbedaan kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru PAUD dalam membuat RPPH berbasis STEAM-PBL antara sebelum dan setelah mengikuti metode Peer Teaching pada perkuliahan Pembelajaran Sains untuk Anak Usia Dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes membuat rancangan RPPH berbasis STEAM-PBL. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara online dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 59 mahasiswa PGPAUD semester 6 di salah satu universitas negri di Purwakarta. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: 1) kemampuan awal mahasiswa dalam membuat RPPH berbasis STEAM-PBL sebelum mengikuti metode Peer Teaching pada menunjukkan hampir sebagian besar mahasiwa belum memiliki kemampuan membuat RPPH berbasis STEAM-PBL dengan baik; 2) setelah mengikuti metode Peer Teaching, teridentifikasi bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru PAUD dalam membuat RPPH berbasis STAM-PBL mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan; 3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan awal mahasiswa dalam merancang RPPH berbasis STEAM-PBL dengan kemampuan akhir yang diperoleh setelah perkuliahan dengan menggunakan metode peer teaching. ----- This research is motivated by educational issues that have not been able to improve children's skills in the 21st century. This study aims to identify the ability of prospective PAUD teacher in making RPPH based on STEAM-PBL before participating in the Peer Teaching method in Science Learning for Early Childhood Lectures, identifying the ability of prospective PAUD teacher in making RPPH based on STEAM-PBL after following the Peer Teaching method in Science Learning for Early Childhood lectures, and analyzing the significance of differences in the ability of prospective PAUD teacher in making RPPH based on STEAM-PBL between before and after following the Peer Teaching method in the Science Learning course for Early Childhood. The method used in this research is pre-experiment with the research design used is one group pretest-posttest. The research instrument used was a test to make a RPPH design based on STEAM-PBL. The research was conducted online with a research sample of 59 6th semester PGPAUD college students at one of the state universities in Purwakarta. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: 1) the initial ability of students in making RPPH based on STEAM-PBL before following the Peer Teaching method showed that most of the students did not have the ability to make RPPH based on STEAM-PBL well; 2) after following the Peer Teaching method, it was identified that the ability of prospective PAUD teacher students in making RPPH based on STEAM-PBL increased significantly; 3) there is a significant difference between students' initial abilities in designing RPPH based on STEAM-PBL and the final abilities obtained after lectures using the peer teaching method.
