Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeksripiskan pemaknaan Representasi Homoseksualitas Di Tengah Resistensi Nilai Budaya Indonesia Melalui Analisis Semiotika Roland barthes. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang memberikan gambaran secara mendalam terkait fenomena yang akan diteliti. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode semiotika Roland Barthes melalui makna denotasi (makna sebenarnya), konotasi (pemaknaan) dan mitos (makna konotasi yang berhubungan dengan budaya). Subjek penelitian adalah Juno sebagai pemeran utama dalam film Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku. Objek dalam penelitian adalah tanda-tanda atau simbol representasi homoseksual dalam adegan atau adegan.Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis visual. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menentukan representasi homoseksual dalam film, peneliti mengikuti setiap adegannya dengan mengacu pada teori perilaku seksual seperti sensitisasi, disscociation and signification, pandangan sosial, dan pengakuan serta teknik sinematografi yang tergambar dalam film. Pengumpulan data selanjutnya adalah studi pustaka, dokumentasi dengan melakukan screenshoot adegan film untuk dianalisis. Sedangkan untuk keabsahan data peneliti melalukan member check kepada seorang psikolog dan Komunitas Ruang Film Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian melalui analisis semiotika Roland Barthes menunjukan bahwa Juno dalam film Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku, yaitu seorang homoseksual dengan memiliki homosexual feeling dalam dirinya. Dalam ilmu komunikasi, film menjadi media audio-visual yang mampu merepresentasikan ulang realitas yang ada di masyarakat. Realitas yang ada pada sebuah film dibangun melalui beragam tanda.Tarian lengger lanang Lanang dalam film Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku menunjukan bahwa laki-laki mempunyai sisi maskulin dan femininitas dalam diri. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada praktik analisis semiotika dalam film. (2021), Homosexuality Representation Amid Resistance to Indonesian Cultural Values (Analysis of Roland Barthes Semiotics in the film Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku) This writing aims to describe the meaning of Homosexuality Representation Amid the Resistance of Indonesian Cultural Values through Roland Barthes' Semiotics Analysis. This study uses a qualitative approach that provides an in-depth description of the phenomenon to be studied. The research method uses Roland Barthes' semiotics method through denotative meaning (true meaning), connotation (meaning) and myth (connotative meaning related to culture). The research subject is Juno as the main character in the film Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku. Objects in this study are signs or symbols of homosexual representation in the adegan. The data used in this study is visual analysis. In collecting data, researchers determine the representation of homosexuals in the film, researchers follow each adegan by referring to theories of sexual behavior such as sensitization, disscociation and signification, social views, and recognition as well as cinematographic techniques depicted in the film. The next data collection is literature study, documentation by doing screenshots of film adegans for analysis. As for the validity of the data, the researcher did a member check to a psychologist, and the Ruang Film Bandung Community. Based on the results of research through semiotic analysis of Roland Barthes shows Juno in the Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku film is a homosexual with homosexual feeling in him. In communication science, film is an audiovisual medium capable of re-presenting the reality that exists in socienty. The reality that exists in a film is built through various signs. Lengger dance in the film Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku shows that men have masculine and feminine sides in themselves. This research has implications for the practice of semiotic analysis in films.
