Abstract

Abstrak : Adanya penyebaran wabah Covid-19 yang menyebabkan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan mengeluarkan surat No. 36962/MPK.A/HK/2020 tentang pembelajaran secara online dan belajar dari rumah guna mencegah penyebaran Corona Virus. Kebijakan agar selalu menjaga jarak dan menghindari kontak langsung menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran khususnya dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Pembelajaran sejarah yang sebagian prosedural lebih efektif disampaikan tatap muka membuat guru dan siswa dituntut untuk menjadi lebih kreatif menggunakan aplikasi kelas virtual. Kelas virtual adalah kelas online yang memfasilitasi antar pengguna untuk berkomunikasi, melihat video, mengirimkan tugas dan interaksi lainnya yang melibatkan individu maupun kelompok. Salah satu aplikasi yang digunakan adalah Microsoft teams. Berkurangnya interaksi guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah jarak jauh menyebabkan siswa dituntut untuk memiliki sikap kemandirian belajar. Pentingnya belajar mandiri di masa pandemi Covid-19 melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran aktivitas kemandirian belajar siswa, kendala yang dihadapi guru dan siswa, hingga upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah aktivitas kemandirian belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah di masa pandemi melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi microsoft teams di kelas XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Lemahabang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, sementara teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru secara maksimal memanfaatkan aplikasi microsoft teams, karena memberikan kesempatan untuk tetap belajar sejarah di rumah dengan mudah selama proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hal tersebut menjadi salah satu faktor pendorong yang membuat kemandirian belajar siswa secara perlahan terbentuk. Selain karena tuntutan keadaan, seiring berjalannya waktu siswa juga semakin nyaman belajar melalui aplikasi microsoft teams dan kesadaran dalam diri siswa akan pentingnya belajar sejarah di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Kata kunci : Kemandirian Belajar; Pembelajaran Sejarah; Daring; Aplikasi Micrososft Teams Abstract : The spread of the Covid-19 outbreak caused the Minister of Education and Culture to issue letter Number 36962/MPK.A/HK/2020 regarding online learning and learning from home to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus. The policy to always keep a distance and avoid direct contact is a challenge for teachers and students in learning, especially in learning history. History learning, which is partly procedural, is more effectively delivered face-to-face, making teachers and students required to be more creative using virtual classroom applications. Virtual class is an online class that facilitates users to communicate, view videos, submit assignments and other interactions that involve individuals or groups. One of the applications used is Microsoft Teams. The reduced interaction of teachers and students in distance learning history causes students to be required to have an attitude of learning independence. The importance of self-study during the Covid-19 pandemic is the background of this research. This study aims to obtain an overview of student learning independence activities, the obstacles faced by teachers and students, to the efforts made to overcome the problems of student learning independence activities in history learning during the pandemic through the use of the Microsoft Teams application in class XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Lemahabang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method, while the data collection techniques are interview, observation, and documentation studies. The result of this study is that students and teachers make maximum use of the Microsoft Teams application, because it provides the opportunity to keep learning history at home easily during the distance learning process. This is one of the driving factors that makes student learning independence slowly formed. Apart from the demands of the situation, over time students are also more comfortable learning through the Microsoft Teams application and the awareness within students of the importance of learning history in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
