Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran efektivitas pengembangan, gambaran tingkat semangat kerja dan pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap semangat kerja pegawai di Sekretariat Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini, yaitu pengembangan karir dan semangat kerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Penelitian menggunakan sampel sebagai responden dengan jumlah responden sampel penelitian sebanyak 85 responden, kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik analisis menggunakan koefisien korelasi dan regresi sederhana. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pengembangan karir pada pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung Barat berada pada kategori efektif, tingkat semangat kerja pada pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung Barat berada pada kategori tinggi dan dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pengembangan karir terhadap semangat kerja pegawai di Sekretariat Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung Barat. The purpose of this research is to know the description of the effectiveness of career development, describe the level of working morale and the effect of career development toward employee working morale at the Regional Secretariat of the Bandung Regency Government. The variables studied in this research, namely career development and working morale. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method, data collection technique using a questionnaire. The research used a sample as a respondent with a total sample of 85 respondents, the questionnaire used a Likert scale. The analysis technique uses correlation coefficients and simple regression. The results showed that the effectiveness of career development for the employees of the Regional Secretariat of the West Bandung Regency Government was in the effective category, the level of working morale of the employees of the West Bandung Regency Government Regional Secretariat was in the high category and from the results of hypothesis testing, it was obtained that there was a positive and significant influence on career development on word morale employee at the Regional Secretariat of The West Bandung Regency Government.
