Abstract

Abstrak Tesis ini berjudul “Komunitas Aleut sebagai sumber belajar untuk meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah”, penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurang tertariknya masyarakat Kota Bandung terhadap situs sejarah yang berdampak hilangnya situs tersebut, serta adanya Komunitas Aleut yang memiliki kepedulian terhadap situs sejarah sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar pembelajaran sejarah. Masalah utama yang diangkat dalam tesis ini adalah “Bagaimana Komunitas Aleut sebagai sumber belajar dapat meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah?” masalah utama tersebut kemudian disusun menjadi empat pertanyaan penelitian, yaitu : (1). Bagaimana perkembangan Komunitas Aleut sebagai komunitas sejarah?; (2). Bagaimana langkah-langkah Komunitas Aleut dalam membangun kesadaran sejarah?; (3) Bagaimana desain pembelajaran untuk menerapkan untuk menerapkan Komunitas Aleut sebagai sumber belajar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sejarah?; dan (4). Bagaimana bentuk kesadaran sejarah siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Komunitas Aleut sebagai sumber belajar?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah naturalistik inkuiri, hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan dari Komunitas Aleut bisa dijadikan sumber belajar sejarah berdasarkan pemetaan materi hasil analisis silabus pada Permendikbud No. 37 Tahun 2018 terdapat korelasi antara kegiatan Komunitas Aleut dalam hal pembelajaran sejarah lokal, adapun model pembelajaran yang mendukung kegiatan Komunitas Aleut sebagai sumber belajar adalah Discovery Learning melalui model ini peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah. Abstract This thesis entitled “Aleut Community as a learning source to increase historical awareness”, this research is motivated by the lack of interest of people in Bandung City towards historical sites that impacted on the loss of these sites, as well as the existence of Aleut Community which has concern for historical sites so that it can be used as a resource in learning history. The main problem in this paper is “How Aleut Community as learning resources can increase historical awareness?” The main problems are then arranged into four research questions, namely: (1) How is the development of Aleut Community as a historical community?: (2) What is the steps that Aleut Community takes in building historical awareness?: (3) How is learning design to implement Aleut Community as learning resource in history learning activities?; and (4) How is the form of students historical awareness in history learning by using Aleut Community as a learning resource?. The research method used is naturalistic inquiry, the results of the study indicate that the activities of the Aleut Community can be used as a history learning source based on mapping of materials from the analysis of the syllabus in Permendikbud No.37 of 2018 there is a correlation between Aleut Community activities in terms of learning local history, while the learning model that supports Aleut Community activities as a learning resource is Discovery learning, through this model students become more active so it can help to increase historical awareness.
