Abstract
Pendidikan inklusi merupakan salah satu alternatif pendidikan bagi ABK dalam sekolah umum, karena dianggap sebagai upaya untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan sosial bagi ABK maupun anak normal agar dapat hidup bersama dengan saling memahami dan menerima satu sama lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi di SMA N 9 Sijunjung kabupaten Sijunjung Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru BK , guru kelas, dan siswa sebanyak empat orang terdiri dari 2 siswa normal dan 2 siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi secara langsunng kelapangan, melalui wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan yang ditemui terkait penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi di SMA N 9 Sijunjung seperti siswa merasa terganggu dengan teman sekelasnya, guru sulit untuk mengkondusifkan kelas, kurangnya kompetensi guru dalam menghadapi ABK, tenaga pendidik yang tersedia masih kurang dan minimnya pemahaman guru reguler tentang pendidikan inklusi. Upaya dalam mengatasi hal tersebut, guru akan memulai pelajaran saat semua siswa sudah tenang dengan suasana kelas yang lebih kondusif, mengadakan sosialisasi dan pelatihan guru tentang penanganan ABK Kata Kunci: Sekolah inklusi, pendidikan inklusi, anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK). Inclusive education is an alternative education for special needs children implemented within public schools, considered as an effort in order to foster social skills of both special needs or normal children, helps realizing coexistence by understanding and accepting to one another. This research aims to describes the inclusive education implementation at at senior high school 9 Sijunjung, Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatera. This study utilized descriptive qualitative method along with principal, guidance and counseling teacher, homeroom teacher and four students consist of two for each normal and special needs as subject of research. Data collection carried out by conducting field observation through interview and documentation. Research found a number of obstacles over the related to the implementation of inclusive education at senior high school 9 Sijunjung such as classmates disturbance, teaching difficulties, teachers lacked competence in dealing with special needs children, lack of teaching staff and lack understanding of regular teachers about education inclusive. To overcome problems above, teachers will start the class while condusive classroom athmosphere has been achieved, hold socialization and teacher training on handling special needs children.
