Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya pengembangan bahan ajar yang dilakukan oleh guru. Penggunaan bahan ajar yang biasa digunakan kurang maksimal karena hanya menggunakan buku pelajaran biasa yang dalam pemaparan materinya masih belum sepenuhnya menfasilitasi siswa untuk menemukan pengalaman belajarnya sendiri. Penggunaan pendekatan saintifik pada bahan ajar akan mampu membuat siswa secara aktif belajar menemukan pengetahuannya sendiri karena rangkaian pembelajarannya yang beragam dari mulai mengamati, menanya, mencoba, menalar dan mengkomunikasikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang pada pembuatannya bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana desain pengembangan bahan ajar IPA berbasis pendekatan saintifik, serta untuk mengetahui kelayakannya berdasarkan pendapat para ahli. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Delphi yang dikemukakan oleh Linstone dan Turoff. Langkah-langkahnya adalah studi pendahuluan, mendesain, verifikasi dan evaluasi akhir. Intrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, wawancara dan daftar ceklis. Lembar angket validasi dan lembar wawancara digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kelayakan bahan ajar, sedangkan daftar ceklis digunakan untuk mendapatkan data desain bahan ajar. Dari hasil verifikasi ahli, ditemukan bahwa bahan ajar memperoleh nilai 95% dan 91,6% dari ahli media dengan kategori “Sangat baik,” dan mendapatkan 80% dari ahli materi dengan kategori “Baik.” Hasil rata-rata penilaian menunjukan nilai 88.86% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik.” Dengan begitu, bahan ajar IPA berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi energi dan perubahannya di kelas IV Sekolah dasar dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Bahan ajar, pendekatan saintifik. ABSTRACK This research is motivated by the lack of development of teaching materials carried out by teachers. The use of teaching materials that are commonly used is not optimal because it only uses ordinary textbooks which in the presentation of the material still do not fully facilitate students to find their own learning experiences. The use of a scientific approach to teaching materials will be able to make students actively learn to find their knowledge because of the various learning sequences from observing, asking, trying, reasoning, and communicating. This research is development research that aims to find out how to design the development of handout teaching materials based on a scientific approach, as well as to determine their feasibility based on the opinions of experts. The research was conducted using the Delphi method proposed by Linstone and Turoff. The steps are preliminary study, design, verification, and final evaluation. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires, interviews, and checklists. Validation questionnaire sheets and interview sheets were used to collect data on the feasibility of teaching materials, while a checklist was used to obtain data on the design of teaching materials. From the results of expert verification, it was found that teaching materials scored 95% and 91.6% from media experts in the "Very good" category, and 80% from material experts in the "Good" category. The average result of the assessment shows a value of 88.86% with the category "Very Good." That way, the science handout teaching materials based on a scientific approach to energy materials and their changes in grade IV elementary school are declared "Very Appropriate" for use in learning.
