Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun bahan ajar laju reaksi dengan konteks pembuatan pupuk organik cair dari MOL nasi basi. Optimasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi optimum dari pembuatan pupuk organik cair dari MOL nasi basi sebagai bahan penyusunan bahan ajar. Percobaan pembuatan pupuk organik cair dari MOL nasi basi dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi terkait faktor yang mempengaruhi laju reaksi fermentasi yang dapat dikembangkan dalam prosedur praktikum. Faktor tersebut adalah jenis nasi, konsentrasi gula, dan luas permukaan nasi basi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Development Research (DR) dari Richey & Klein (2005) yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu design, development dan evaluation. Metode pengembangan bahan ajar yang digunakan yaitu metode Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4STMD) yang terdiri empat tahap yaitu seleksi, strukturisasi, karakterisasi, dan reduksi didaktik. Hasil pengembangan bahan ajar pada tahap seleksi diperoleh materi laju reaksi yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum, benar secara keilmuan dan konteks laju reaksi. Pada proses strukturisasi diperoleh peta konsep, struktur makro dan multiple representasi. Tahap karakterisasi berupa uji keterbacaan kepada siswa kelas XI sebanyak 16 orang. Hasil dari karakterisasi menunjukkan bahwa teks yang dikembangkan mudah 68,75% dan teks sulit 31,25%, dan dengan keterbacaan 61,25%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang sudah disusun termasuk dalam kategori keterbacaan sebagian besar dapat dibaca oleh siswa. This study aims to develop teaching materials for reaction rates in the context of manufacturing liquid organic fertilizer from MOL of stale rice. Optimization was carried out to determine the optimum conditions for the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer from MOL stale rice to develop reaction rates teaching materials. The experiment of manufacturing liquid organic fertilizer from MOL of stale rice was carried out to obtain information related to factors that affect the rate of fermentation reactions that can be developed in practical procedures. These factors are the variaty of rice, the concentration of sugar, and the surface area of stale rice. The research method used is Development Research (DR) from Richey & Klein (2005) which consists of three stages, namely design, development and evaluation. The method of developing teaching materials used is the Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4STMD) method which consists of four stages, namely selection, structuring, characterization, and didactic reduction. The results of the development of teaching materials at the selection stage obtained material for the reaction rate in accordance with the demands of the curriculum, scientifically correct and in the context of the reaction rate. In the structuring process, concept maps, macro structures and multiple representations are obtained. The characterization stage is in the form of a readability test for 16 students of class XI. The results of the characterization showed that the text developed was easy 68.75% and difficult text 31.25%, and with 61.25% legibility. This shows that the teaching materials that have been compiled are included in the readability category, most of them can be read by students.
