Abstract

Abstrak: Peran Lingkungan Sosial Pada Pembelajaran PKn Dalam Menumbuhkan Modal Sosial (Studi Kasus di SMAN 1 Singaparna) Indonesia sebagai negara multikultural yang kaya akan budaya, sumber daya alam dan keberagaman sulit sekali terlepas dari konflik sosial. Kuatnya arus globalisasi semakin menambah rumit persoalan kebangsaan Indonesia. Salah satu faktor penyebab adanya konflik sosial di masyarakat adalah perbedaan lingkungan sosial. Lingkungan sosial yang berbeda menjadikan individu atau kelompok merasa paling istimewa dari individu atau kelompok lainnya. Konflik sosial yang terjadi karena pengaruh perbedaan lingkungan sosial harus diselesaikan dengan cara yang tepat dan pengetahuan yang luas serta modal yang cukup seperti modal sosial. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan menjadi mata pelajaran penting yang dapat membantu menumbuhkan modal sosial dengan dukungan yang diberikan oleh lingkungan sosial peserta didik. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana peran lingkungan sosial pada pembelajaran PKn dalam menumbuhkan modal sosial (studi kasus di SMA Negeri 1 Singaparna). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa; Lingkungan sosial peserta didik yang tinggal di pesantren, perkotaan dan pedesaan memiliki perbedaan dalam hal pengimplementasian hasil belajar PKn serta pertumbuhan dan pengembangan modal sosial. Kendala dan upaya yang dihadapi pun berbeda dari setiap lingkungan sosial peserta didik. Dengan demikian lingkungan sosial berperan pada pembelajaran PKn dalam menumbuhkan modal sosial. Kata Kunci: Lingkungan Sosial, PKn, Modal Sosial Abstract: The Role of The Social Environment On Civic Education Learning In Growing Social Capital (Case Study In SMAN 1 Singaparna) Indonesia as a multicultural country rich in culture, natural resources and diversity is very difficult to escape from social conflicts. The strong current of globalization has further complicated the problems of Indonesian nationality. One of the factors that cause social conflict in society is the difference in the social environment. The different of social environments make individuals or groups feel the most special from other individuals or groups. Social conflicts that occur due to the influence of differences in the social environment must be resolved in an appropriate manner and with extensive knowledge and sufficient capital such as social capital. Civic education is an important subject that can help grow social capital with the support provided by the social environment of students. This study discusses how the role of the social environment on Civics learning in growing social capital (case study at SMA Negeri 1 Singaparna). This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study suggest that; The social environment of students living in Islamic boarding schools, urban and rural areas has differences in the implementation of Civics learning outcomes and the growth and development of social capital. The obstacles and efforts faced are also different from each student's social environment. Thus the social environment influences Civics learning in growing social capital.
