Abstract

Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) merupakan beton inovatif yang dapat memadat sendiri (tanpa menggunakan vibrator), dan mampu mengalir dengan beratnya sendiri untuk menempati bekisting tanpa mengalami segregasi. Beton SCC dapat menghasilkan adukan yang homogen ketika pengecoran untuk menghasilkan beton SCC dengan mutu tinggi, kesulitan dalam kelecakan perlu rekayasa sehingga beton SCC mutu tinggi tetap masih cukup baik dalam kelecakannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mencari solusi campuran beton mutu tinggi SCC dengan menggunakan superplasticizer tipe glenium-170 dengan kadar tetap 1,1% dan menggunakan silica fume sebagai bahan tambah. Pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi filling ability, segregation resistance, passing ability, dan kuat tekan. Sampel beton menggunakan cetakan silinder 15 cm x 30 cm, terdiri benda uji beton SCC normal dan penambahan 4 variasi kadar silica fume, yaitu kadar 1,5%, 1,8%, 2%, dan 2,5%. Pengujian kuat tekan dilakukan pada umur 3, 7, 14, dan 28 hari. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, secara umum semakin besar penggunaan kadar silica fume yang digunakan maka kelecakan SCC semakin berkurang, adukan menjadi kohesif dan tidak terjadi segregasi. Beton SCC dengan superplasticizer glenium-170 1,1% dan bahan tambah silica fume didapat kuat tekan beton yang lebih besar dibandingkan beton SCC tanpa penambahan silica fume. Kuat tekan beton terbesar mencapai 55,079 MPa pada umur 28 hari diperoleh pada kadar superplasticizer 1,1% dan bahan tambah silica fume 2,0%. Untuk melengkapi hasil pengujian diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan melengkapi pengujian kuat geser dan lentur. It is able to flow under its own weight, completely filling formwork and achieving full compaction. SCC can produce a homogeneous mix concrete. This research is used to give knowledge about the benefit of the plan of SCC mixed concrete with superplasticizer glenium-170 with fixed content 1,1% and silica fume as an added material. Testing performed included filling ability, segregation resistance,passing ability, and compressive strength. Sample of cylinder with the measure of 15 cm x 30 cm, contains of sample of normal SCC and added 4 variation up by silica fume, that of 1,5%, 1,8%, 2%, and 2,5%. From research research results in general, the higher the content of use of silica fumethe diminishing ability of SCC. Mixture become a cohesive and there is no segregation. SCC with compressive strength test of silica fume added material at the age of 3, 7, 14 and 28 days in general have a concrete with compressive strength greater than SCC without the addition of silica fume. Greatest compressive strength of concrete at 55.079 MPa at 28 days was obtained at content 1,1% superplasticizer and silica fume as an ingredient added 2%.
