Abstract

Penataan sistem pendidikan pada kualitas pendidikan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan dunia kerja, salah satunya adalah pembaruan pendidikan yang dilakukan yaitu menerbitkan suatu aktivitas Praktik Industri yang diadakan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan FPTK UPI. untuk mempersiapkan lulusan yang profesional serta bertanggung jawab di bidang ketekniksipilan. Adapula tujuan dari penelitian kali ini yaitu untuk mengetahui: (1) gambar an Praktik Industri mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, (2) gambaran kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, (3) seberapa besar pengaruh Praktik Industri terhadap kesiapan menuju dunia kerja mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa PTB tahun ajaran 2017 berjumlah 65 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner (angket) baik untuk pelaksanaan praktik industri (variabel X) maupun kesiapan menuju dunia kerja (variabel Y). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan (1) Gambaran Umum tentang Pelaksanaan Praktik Industri pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan termasuk pada kategori “Sangat Tinggi” sebesar 33.33%, (2) Gambaran Umum kesiapan menuju dunia kerja pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan termasuk pada kategori “Sangat Tinggi” sebesar 40.00% , dan (3) terdapat pengaruh pelaksanaan praktik industri terhdap kesiapan menuju dunia kerja secara segnifikan dengan persamaan regresi Y = 43,2405 + 0,3963X . Besarnya kontribusi variabel X terhadap variabel Y sebesar 10,61%. There is also the purpose of this research is to find out: (1) the image of Industrial Practice of Building Engineering Education students, (2) a picture of the work readiness of Building Engineering Education students, (3) how much influence Industrial Practice has on readiness towards the world of work of Building Engineering Education students. This research uses correlation research methods with quantitative approaches. The population in this study was ptb students in the 2017 school year amounted to 65 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaires (questionnaires) both for the implementation of industrial practices (variable X) and readiness to the world of work (variable Y). The results of this study show (1) The Overview of the Implementation of Industrial Practices in Building Engineering Education students belongs to the category of "Very High" by 33.33%, (2) The Overview of readiness to the world of work in building engineering education students belongs to the category of "Very High" by 40.00%, and (3) there is an influence on the implementation of industrial practices to readiness to the world of work in a negated manner with regression equation Y = 43.2405 + 0.3963X. The contribution of variable X to variable Y is 10.61%.
