Abstract

Minat belajar merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan belajar mahasiswa. Semakin tinggi minat belajar maka semakin tinggi hasil belajar, begitupun sebaliknya semakin rendah minat belajar maka semakin rendah hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh minat belajar mahasiswa terhadap kompetensi mata kuliah teknik pengecoran logam di masa pandemi covid-19. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel dari Mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mesin angkatan 2017 dan 2018 yang telah melaksanakan pembelajaran online menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting pada mata kuliah Teknik Pengecoran Logam di masa pandemi covid-19 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 36 orang. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu minat belajar mahasiswa dan kompetensi mahasiswa pendidikan teknik mesin pada mata kuliah teknik pengecoran logam di masa pandemi covid-19 berada pada kategori tinggi, terdapat hubungan dan pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara minat belajar mahasiswa terhadap kompetensi mata kuliah teknik pengecoran logam di masa pandemi covid-19. Interest in learning is an important factor in the success of student learning. The higher the interest in learning, the higher the learning outcomes, otherwise the lower the interest in learning, the lower the learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the influence of student learning interests on the competence of metal casting engineering courses in learning using zoom meetings. This study is using a quantitative descriptive method. The sample of this study is students Mechanical Engineering Education class 2017 and 2018 who have carried out online learning using the zoom meeting application in the Metal Casting Engineering course during the covid-19 pandemic with a sample of 36 students. The result of this study is that the learning Interest and competence of mechanical engineering education students in metal casting engineering courses during the covid-19 pandemic are in the high category, there are a positive and significant relationship and influence between student interest in learning and the competence of metal casting engineering courses in learning using zoom meetings.
