Abstract
Kecerdasan secara umum dibagi menjadi 3 jenis yaitu kecerdasan intelegensi (IQ), kecerdasan emosi (EQ), dan kecerdasan spiritual (SQ). Ketiga ranah kecerdasan tersebut merupakan sistem-sistem berfikir dengan sistem pengorganisasian saraf masing-masing. Tetapi semua itu saling berhubungan dan memiliki dampak satu sama lain. Kecerdasan spiritual merupakan kecerdasan untuk menghadapi dan memecahkan persoalan makna dan nilai. Sedangkan anak tunagrahita atau anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan memiliki karakteristik salah satunya kesulitan memahami dan memaknai hal abstrak. Hal tersebut menyebabkan anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan dianggap akan mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai spiritual.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kecerdasan spiritual siswa tunagrahita baik dari segi pemahaman dan juga aplikatif. Hal tersebut perlu dilakukan mengingat hambatan fungsi intelektual dan perilaku adaptif yang dimiliki oleh anak tunagrahita, mengakibatkankan kesulitan dalam memahami dan menerapkan nilai-nilai atau norma yang berkaitan dengan spiritual di kehidupan sehari-hari terutama hal yang bersifat abstrak. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah dua siswa tunagrahita kelas 8 di SMPLB Pancaran Iman. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan observasi, dilakukan di rumah masing masing siswa dan sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan kedua subjek dalam pemahaman dan aplikatif kecerdasan spiritualnya tetap muncul hanya saja hasil yang ditunjukkan beragam. Hal itu tidak menutup potensi bawaan spiritual pada anak. Keberadaan kecerdasan spiritual pada anak tunagrahita menjadi hal esensial sehingga direkomendasikan orang tua maupun guru mampu membimbing siswa meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritualnya, sehingga memberikan makna dalam kehidupan siswa dan mengoptimalkan fungsi IQ dan EQ pada siswa tunagrahita. Intelligence is generally divided into 3 types, namely intelligence Quotient (IQ), emotional Quotient (EQ), and spiritual Quotient (SQ). The three realms of intelligence are thinking systems with their own neural organizing systems. But they are all interconnected and have an impact on each other. Spiritual quotient is the intelligence to face and solve problems of meaning and value. While mentally retarded children or children with intellectual disabilities have characteristics, one of which is difficulty understanding and interpreting abstract things. This causes children with intellectual disabilities to be considered to have difficulty in understanding and applying spiritual values. This study aims to describe the spiritual quotient abilities of students with intellectual disabilities both in terms of understanding and also applicable. This needs to be done considering the barriers to intellectual function and adaptive behavior possessed by children with intellectual disabilities, resulting in difficulties in understanding and applying spiritual values or norms in everyday life, especially abstract things. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive method. The subjects of this study were two 8th grade students with intellectual disabilities at the SMPLB Pancaran Iman. The data collection process was carried out by means of interviews and observations, carried out at each student's home and school. The results of this study indicate that the ability of the two subjects in understanding and applying spiritual quotient continues to appear, but the results shown are varied. It does not close the spiritual innate potential in children. The existence of spiritual quotient in students with intellectual disabilities is essential, so it is recommended that parents and teachers be able to guide students to improve their spiritual quotient, thereby giving meaning to students' lives and optimizing the functions of IQ and EQ in students with intellectual disabilities.
