Abstract
ABSTRAK Perubahan tutupan lahan dan kerapatan vegetasi akibat kehadiran lahan-lahan terbangun merupakan fenomena global yang salah satunya terjadi di Kecamatan Kuningan. Lahan terbangun tidak memiliki fungsi-fungsi ekologis sebagai lahan bervegatasi, karena memicu kenaikan suhu udara hingga urban heat island (UHI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis perubahan kerapatan vegetasi dan suhu permukaan di Kecamatan Kuningan periode 1990-2020; 2) memahami dampak perubahan kerapatan vegetasi terhadap suhu permukaan di Kecamatan Kuningan. Unit kajian dalam penelitian ini berupa seluruh desa/kelurahan yang ada di Kecamatan Kuningan, Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat. Data suhu permukaan dan kerapatan vegetasi berasal dari citra satelit Landsat series untuk periode 1990, 2000, 2010, dan 2020. Suhu permukaan berasal dari algoritma radiative transfer equation, sedangkan kerapatan vegetasi berbasis pada nilai NDVI. Validasi data dilakukan dengan membandingkan dengan data citra MODIS, citra Sentinel-2 A/B, dan survei lapangan. Penelitian ini juga melibatkan 30 informan yang merasakan pengalaman perubahan lingkungan selama kurun waktu 30 tahun. Selama periode 1990 hingga 2020 terjadi penurunan rata-rata kerapatan vegetasi sebesar 0.05 dengan persebaran yang pusat kota menuju wilayah timur dan utara. Bertambahnya luas lahan terbangun hingga beberapa wilayah memiliki suhu sekitar 26oC s.d. 28oC pada tahun 2020. Pengaruh kerapatan vegetasi terhadap suhu pada empat periode pengamatan memiliki nilai 0,36 atau 36% yang memiliki arti bahwa variabel kerapatan kerapatan vegetasi berpengaruh sebesar 36% pada suhu permukaan di Kecamatan Kuningan. r-value negatif menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi negatif antara kerapatan vegetasi dan suhu. Dampak perubahan ini turut dirasakan oleh masyarakat setempat yang ditujukan dari adaptasi dan perubahan perilaku. Kata kunci: kerapatan vegetasi, Kuningan, suhu permukaan. ABSTRACT Changes in land cover and vegetation greenness due to the presence of built-up lands are global phenomena, one of which occurs in Kuningan District. Built-up area does not have ecological functions as vegetated areas, because it triggers an increase in air temperature to the urban heat island (UHI). This study aims to 1) analyze changes in vegetation greenness and surface temperature in Kuningan District for the period 1990-2020; 2) understand the impact of changes in vegetation greenness on surface temperature in Kuningan District. The units of study in this research are all villages in Kuningan District, Kuningan Regency, West Java. Surface temperature and vegetation greenness data came from Landsat series satellite imagery for the period 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2020. Surface temperature comes from the radiative transfer equation algorithm, while vegetation greenness is based on the NDVI value. Data validation was carried out by comparing with MODIS image data, Sentinel-2 A / B imagery, and field surveys. This study also involved 30 informants who experienced environmental changes over a period of 30 years. During the period 1990 to 2020 there was a decrease in the average vegetation greenness of 0.05, with the distribution of the city center towards the eastern and northern regions. Increasing the area of built land so that some areas have temperatures around 26oC to s.d. 28oC in 2020. The effect of vegetation greenness on temperature in the four observation periods has a value of 0.36 or 36% which means that the variable of vegetation greenness has an effect of 36% on surface temperature in Kuningan District. A negative r-value indicates that there is a negative correlation between vegetation greenness and surface temperature. The impact of this change is also felt by the local community, aimed at adapting and changing behavior. Keywords: Kuningan, surface temperature, vegetation greenness.
