Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya hambatan dalam pelaksanaan program pengembangan gerak bagi anak cerebral palsy dalam setting pembelajaran jarak jauh di SLB Nurvita. Pembelajaran di SLB Nurvita harus dilaksanakan dalam setting pembelajaran jarak jauh guna mematuhi aturan pemerintah dalam mencegah penularan penyakit COVID-19. Sementara, pembelajaran bagi anak cerebral palsy khususnya pengembangan gerak penting untuk dilaksanakan, agar kemampuan gerak anak tetap dapat dioptimalkan dan anak dapat mandiri dalam menjalankan aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah tersusunnya program pengembangan gerak bagi anak cerebral palsy yang dapat dilaksanakan dalam setting pembelajaran jarak jauh. Adapun aspek gerak difokuskan pada pengembangan gerak tangan sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deksriptif, dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Program pengembangan gerak tangan disusun berdasarkan pelaksanaan program pengembangan gerak yang selama ini dilaksanakan di SLB Nurvita pada masa pembelajaran jarak jauh, dan juga profil kemampuan gerak tangan anak cerebral palsy. Program yang disusun diadaptasi dari latihan Prehension untuk melatih kemampuan gerak membuka dan menutup telapak tangan dan jemari, serta program latihan Reach-to-Grasp untuk melatih kemampuan koordinasi mata dan tangan. Selanjutnya, program yang telah disusun divalidasi kepada tiga ahli dalam bidang pendidikan khusus spesialisasi anak dengan hambatan motorik. Program yang telah divalidasi diujicoba untuk dilaksanakan oleh guru, anak, dan orang tua. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba pelaksanaan program, guru, anak dan orang tua dapat melaksanakan program pengembangan gerak tangan dalam setting pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan kooperatif dan sesuai dengan langkah-langkah pelaksanaan di dalam program. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Gerak Tangan, Cerebral palsy, Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the obstacles in the implementation of the movement development program for children with cerebral palsy in the distance learning setting at Nurvita special school. Learning activities at Nurvita special school must be held in a distance learning setting to comply with government regulations in preventing the transmission of COVID-19. Meanwhile, learning for children with cerebral palsy, especially to increase motor skills, is important to carry out, so children's movement abilities can still be optimized and children can be independent in carrying out activities of daily life. The purpose of this study is to develop a movement program for children with cerebral palsy that can be implemented in a distance learning setting. The movement aspect is focused on developing hand movements skill according to the needs of the child. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative research method, with interview and observation techniques. The hand movement program was prepared based on the implementation of the movement development program that had been carried out at SLB Nurvita during the distance learning period, as well as the profile of the hand movement abilities of children with cerebral palsy. The program was adapted from the Prehension exercise to train the ability to open and close the palms and fingers, as well as the Reach-to-Grasp exercise program to train hand-eye coordination. Furthermore, the program that has been compiled validated by three experts in special education specializing in children with motor impairments. The program has been validated tested to be implemented by teachers, children, and parents. Based on the results of the program implementation, teachers, children, and parents can carry out the hand movement development program in a distance learning setting cooperatively and following the implementation steps in the program.
