Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya kasus gangguan kejiwaan di Indonesia disertai dengan tingginya stigma dan perlakuan diskriminatif terhadap Orang Dengan Gangguan Jiwa atau ODGJ. Hal ini merupakan bentuk pelanggaran hak karena sejatinya setiap individu memiliki hak yang sama dan dijamin oleh konstitusi negara Indonesia, tepatnya pada Pasal 28 A-J Di tengah tingginya stigma dan perlakuan diskriminatif terhadap ODGJ, pemilik akun youtube Sinau Hurip justru melakukan kegiatan sosial penanganan ODGJ yang terlantar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) motivasi prososial pemilik akun youtube Sinau Hurip terhadap ODGJ sebagai bentuk penguatan civic engagement; 2) upaya penanganan ODGJ oleh pemilik akun youtube Sinau Hurip sebagai bentuk penguatan civic engagement; 3) perspektif PKn terkait motivasi prososial pemilik akun youtube Sinau Hurip terhadap ODGJ sebagai bentuk penguatan civic engagement. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pemilik akun youtube Sinau Hurip memiliki motivasi intrinsik dalam menangani ODGJ; 2) upaya penanganan ODGJ terdiri dari tiga proses, yakni proses persiapan, penanganan awal, dan penanganan lanjutan; 3) motivasi prososial pemilik akun youtube Sinau Hurip merupakan bentuk penguatan civic engagement karena secara sukarela membantu ODGJ dan memanfaatkan media sosial youtube untuk memperluas jangkauan keterlibatan individu warga negara lainnya. This research is motivated by the many cases of mental disorders in Indonesia accompanied by stigma and discriminatory treatment of People with Mental Disorders or ODGJ. This is a form of rights violation because actually every individual has the same rights and is guaranteed by the Indonesian constitution, precisely in Article 28 A-J. The aims of this study were to determine: 1) the prosocial motivation of the Sinau Hurip youtube account owner towards ODGJ as a form of strengthening civic engagement; 2) efforts to handle ODGJ by the Sinau Hurip youtube account owner as a form of strengthening civic engagement; 3) Civics perspective related to the prosocial motivation of Sinau Hurip's youtube account owner towards ODGJ as a form of strengthening civic engagement. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that: 1) Sinau Hurip's youtube account owner has intrinsic motivation in the hands of ODGJ; 2) efforts to handle ODGJ consist of three processes, namely the preparation process, initial treatment, and follow-up treatment; 3) the prosocial motivation of Sinau Hurip's youtube account owner is a form of strengthening citizen involvement because he voluntarily helps ODGJ and utilizes YouTube social media to expand the involvement of other individual citizens.
