Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurang tergalinya kecerdasan majemuk anak khususnya kecerdasan musikal anak di TK Bianglala terlihat saat anak mengikuti pembelajaran, masih banyak anak yang tidak dapat mengingat melodi, syair lagu, kurang mudah mengikuti irama, kurang peka terhadap suara-suara di lingkungannya, tidak dapat memainkan alat musik sederhana, dan kurang memberikan reaksi yang kuat terhadap berbagai jenis musik serta tenaga pendidik musik yang kurang menguasai pembelajaran yang ada di TK. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu memperoleh gambaran tentang meningkatnya kecerdasan musikal anak melalui permainan Orff Percussion. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini: (1) Bagaimana kondisi kecerdasan musikal anak pada kelompok kontrol Taman Kanak-kanak Bianglala sebelum dan setelah penerapan kegiatan permainan Orff Percussion? (2) Bagaimana kondisi kecerdasan musikal anak pada kelompok eksperimen Taman Kanak-kanak Bianglala sebelum dan setelah penerapan kegiatan permainan Orff Percussion? (3) Apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kondisi kecerdasan musikal anak pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan setelah penerapan permainan Orff Percussion?. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen (pretest-posttest control group design). Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak kelompok B TK Bianglala yang berjumlah 17 anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kecerdasan musikal anak melalui penerapan permainan Orff Percussion. Pada saat pretest anak-anak kelompok eksperimen berada pada kriteria sangat tinggi 22.2%, tinggi sebanyak 55.6%, sedang sebanyak 11.1% dan rendah sebanyak 11.1%. Pada saat posttest mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada kriteria sangat tinggi menjadi 77.8%, tinggi 11.1% dan sedang sebanyak 11.1%. Rekomendasi bagi guru dalam penerapan permainan Orff Percussion adalah guru harus dapat menstimulus anak melalui permainan musik yang sederhana namun menyenangkan karena bukan saja dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan musikal anak namun juga dapat meningkatkan semua kecerdasan majemuk anak.. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Musikal, Permainan Orff Percussion. ABSTRACT The based of this research comes from the less stimulate of multiple intelligences children especially musical intelligence in kindergarten of Bianglala. It is seen when children participating in learning, there are still many children who can not remember the melody, lyric song, the rhythm is less easy, less sensitive to sounds in the environment, can not play a simple musical instrument, and not providing a strong reaction to various types of music and music educators who did not master the learning at kindergaten. The research objectives is to get some illustrations about the improved of musical intelligence through play orff percussion. The method research is quasi-experimental (pretest-posttest control group design). Further for the statements problems are written below. 1. How the condition of child’s musical intelligence in the control group of Bianglala kindergarten before and after application of play orff percussion? 2. How the condition of child’s musical intelligence in the experiment group of Bianglala kindergarten before and after application of play orff percussion? 3. There is a significant differences on the musical intelligence children in the control group and experiment group before and after play orff percussion in the Bianglala kindergarten? In addition, the technique of this research is observation, and documentation study. The subjects in this research is the students of Bianglala kindergarten from group B as much as 17 students. The result showed an increase in children’s musical intelligence through the application of play orff percussion. During pretest the children of experimental group are at very high criteria of 22.2%, high by 55.6%, medium by 11.1% and low as musch as 11.1%. At the time of posttest increased that is the very high criteria to 77.8%, high by 11.1% and medium by 11.1%. Recommendation for teachers in the application of play orff percussion is the teacher must be able to stimulate the child through a simple and fun music game because not only can enhance the child’s musical intelligence but also can improve all children’s multiple intelligences.
