Abstract

Seorang pemimpin harus dapat melayani dan dalam implementasinya menggunakan banyak model kepemimpinan. Latarbelakang penelitian ini didasari dari perilaku kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah sebagai faktor keberhasilan pendidikan dalam memberikan pelayanan pada kondisi pandemik Covid-19 untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses implementasi Servant Leadership di sekolah MAN 1 Ciamis dan peran servant leadership dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Metode Penelitian yang di gunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan instrumen wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yakni Kepala Sekolah, guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan temuan bahwa implementasi servant leadership di anggap sesuai dengan kondisi pandemik saat ini, dimana stakeholder sekolah membutuhkan sosok pemimpin yang mampu memberikan pelayanan sebagai fasilitator baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dalam menjalankan roda organisasi di sekolah untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan di sekolah MAN 1 Ciamis, meskipun dalam implementasinya terdapat beberapa kendala seperti belum siapnya tenaga pendidik senior dalam menghadapi perubahan sistem pembelajaran, sehingga perlu di tunjang dengan pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan pihak sekolah untuk meningkatkan layanan informasi sekolah yang dapat di akses dalam bentuk digital baik oleh tenaga pendidik, guru dan orang tua agar dapat menunjang mutu pendidikan di sekolah.; A leader must be able to serve and in its implementation use many leadership models. The background of this research is based on the leadership behavior of the principal as a factor in the success of education in providing services during the Covid-19 pandemic conditions to maintain and improve the quality of education in schools. This study aims to analyze the process of implementing Servant Leadership in MAN 1 Ciamis schools and the role of servant leadership in improving the quality of education in schools.. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with instruments of interviews, and documentation. Subjects in this study included school principals, teachers, and students. The findings showed that the implementation of servant leadership is considered following the current pandemic conditions, where school stakeholders need a leader who can provide services as a facilitator either directly or indirectly in running the organization's wheels in schools to maintain and improve the quality of education in schools. MAN 1 Ciamis, although in its implementation there are several obstacles such as the unpreparedness of senior educators in dealing with changes in the learning system, so it needs to be supported by competency improvement training. And this study recommends the school improve school information services that can be accessed in digital form both by educators, teachers, and parents to support the quality of education in schools.
