Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kontak bahasa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar pelajaran basa Sunda di SMKN 1 Leuwimunding. Siswa menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Cirebon dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Sunda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk medeskripsikan serta membandingkan interferensi bahasa berdasarkan grafologi/fonologi, gramatikal (morfologi dan sintaksis), dan leksikon pada bahasa Sunda yang dipengaruhi bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Jawa Cirebon dalam hasil karangan babad siswa. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, sumber data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik tes dan angket, sedangkan untuk memilih data sampel menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Dipilih data sampel sebanyak 52 karangan babad dengan hasil analisis interferensi sebanyak 505 data, yaitu (1) interferensi grafologi/fonoloogi terdapat 97 kata, (2) interferensi gramatikal yang terdiri dari interferensi morfologis terdapat 157 kata dan interferensi sintaksis terdapat 126 data, (3) dan interferensi leksikon terdapat 125 kata. Dari data yang diperoleh dari hasil analisis sebagai berikut (1) latar belakang sosial siswa mempengaruhi bahasa siswa, (2) siswa menggunakan media terjemahan secara online, dan (3) sedikitna kosa kata siswa menyebabkan siswa menggunakan bahasa Indonésia dan bahasa Jawa Cirebon ke dalam bahasa Sunda. Kata Kunci: interferensi, karangan babad, This research is based on the existence of language contact during the teaching learning process of Sundanese language subject in the Leuwimunding 1 State Vocational School (SMKN 1 Leuwimunding). The students use Indonesian and Cirebonese languages during the teaching learning process of Sundanese language subject. This research aims to describe as well as to compare the language interference based on the graphology / phonology, grammatical (morphology and syntactical), and lexical in the Sundanese language that is influenced by Indonesian and Cirebonese languages found in the students’ historic writing compositions. This qualitative research employed descriptive method, the data were collected using test and questionnaire techniques. Meanwhile, to select the data sample used purposive sampling technique. There are 52 selected students’ historic writing compositions and after being analyzed, there are 505 interference data, classified into (1) 97 words graphology / phonology interference, (2) 283 words grammatical interference that is categorized into 157 words morphological interference and 97 words graphology / phonology interference, and 125 words lexical interference. Based on the analysis performed, it can be concluded that (1) the students’ social background influences their language, (2) the students use online translation media, and (3) the use of Indonesian and Cirebonese Languages is caused by the lack students’ lack of vocabulary.
