Abstract

Konsep smart school merupakan pengembangan pendidikan sebagai respon terhadap revolusi industri 4.0. Konsep ini sudah mulai dikembangkan sejak isu revolusi industri muncul. Indonesia, belum memiliki pedoman mengenai konsep smart school. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komponen-komponen dalam kriteria smart school, dan kelemahan-kelemahan yang terjadi dan perlu diperbaiki. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menghasilkan kajian yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk membuat strategi dalam menerapkan konsep smart school. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kebijakan dengan metode responsive evaluation. Kebijakan yang dikaji adalah penerapan konsep smart school, sedangkan evaluasi dilakukan pada fasilitas sekolah dan kompetensi guru. Studi kasus dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi sebagai salah satu model sekolah yang sudah menerapkan konsep smart school. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, fasilitas SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi belum memenuhi kriteria sekolah smart school dengan persentase ketercapaian 62.35%. Dari pemenuhan sumber daya manusia, guru dan tenaga pengajar sekolah tersebut telah memiliki kompetensi yang sesuai untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran smart school. Berdasarkan hasil studi, fasilitas yang perlu dioptimalkan oleh SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi adalah penyediaan sarana disabilitas dan teknologi penunjang smart school. Kata kunci: industri 4.0, fasilitas sekolah, kompetensi guru, smart school. The smart school concept is the development of education as a response to the industrial revolution 4.0. This concept has been developed since the issue of the industrial revolution emerged. Indonesia does not have guidelines regarding the smart school concept. Therefore, this study aims to determine the components in the smart school criteria, and the weaknesses that occur and need to be improved. It is hoped that this research can produce studies that could be used as a reference for making strategies in implementing the smart school concept. This research is policy research with responsive evaluation method. The policy being studied is the application of the smart school concept, while the evaluation is carried out on school facilities and teacher competencies. The case study was conducted at 1st State Vocational School of Cimahi as one of the school models that have implemented the smart school concept. The results showed that the facilities of 1st State Vocational School of Cimahi did not meet the criteria for a smart school with an achievement percentage of 62.35%. From the fulfillment of human resources, the teachers and teaching staff of the school already has the appropriate competencies to organize smart school learning. Based on the results of this study, the facilities that need to be optimized by 1st Vocational School of Cimahi are providing facilities for disability and technology for supporting smart school.
