Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan di SDN 10 Negri Kaler. Hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas IV yang masih dibawah batas ketuntasan minimal. Tindakan yang digunakan untuk memperbaikinya adalah dengan menggunakan pembelajaran model Discovery Learning karena dalam pembelajaran ini merupakan model yang pas untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran tematik sebab mempunyai langkah pembelajaran yang bisa meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dalam menciptakan konsep. Tujuan melakukan penelitian ini yaitu upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SDN 10 Nagri Kaler yang berjumlah 15 orang. Jenis penelitian ini yakni dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Solusi dari permasalahan saat pengamatan dengan menggunakan model Discovery Learning untuk menekankan sebagai gambaran yang merupakan contoh dari materi yang diambil oleh peneliti. Prosedur peneliti ini dilakukan II siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil peneliti ini menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil peserta didik. Dari hasil perhitungan hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 73,3% dan di siklus II menjadi 86,6%. Penelitian ini berhasil karena telah mencapai hasil yang maksimum. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, Hasil Belajar ----- Based on the results of observations that have been made at SDN 10 Negri Kaler. The learning outcomes of students in class IV are still below the minimum completeness limit. The action used to improve it is to use the model Discovery Learning because this learning is the right model to be applied to thematic learning because it has learning steps that can increase the activity of students in creating concepts. The purpose of this research is an effort to improve student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were all fourth grade students of SDN 10 Nagri Kaler, totaling 15 people. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The solution to the problem during observation is by using the model Discovery Learning to emphasize the picture which is an example of the material taken by the researcher. This research procedure was carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques consist of observation, tests, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that using the model Discovery Learning can improve student outcomes. From the results of the calculation of student learning outcomes increased in the first cycle to 73.3% and in the second cycle to 86.6%. This research is successful because it has achieved maximum results. So it can be concluded that Discovery Learning can improve student learning outcomes.
