Abstract

Praktik kerja industri di SMK menghadapi permasalahan di masa pandemi covid-19. Praktik kerja industri merupakan program yang bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan minat siswa dalam memasuki dunia kerja yang relevan dengan bidang keahliannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa signifikan persepsi siswa dalam mengikuti praktik kerja industri di sekolah terhadap minat kerja siswa. Praktik kerja industri yang dimaksud adalah praketik keja industri yang dialihkan menjadi pembelajaran berbasis proyek kolaboratif di sekolah. Studi ini meneliti apakah praktik kerja industri di lingkungan sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang sama terhadap minat kerja siswa seperti praktik kerja industri sebelum pandemi. Teknik sampel menggunakan sampel total atau sensus dengan jumlah 26 siswa dari jurusan DPIB. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner online. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Persepsi siswa terhadap keikutsertaan praktik kerja industri di lingkungan sekolah berada pada kategori sangat baik. (2) Minat kerja siswa setelah mengikuti praktik kerja industri di lingkungan sekolah tergolong sangat tinggi. (3) Persepsi siswa dalam mengikuti praktik kerja industri di lingkungan sekolah memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat kerja siswa DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang pada masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan pertimbangan bagi sekolah untuk mengelola program praktik kerja industri yang lebih matang dalam penanggulangan dampak pandemi covid-19 seperti melibatkan internet dan teknologi virtual agar dapat terus bekerjasama dengan industri. It is well established that industrial work practice is a beneficial program to improving students' interests in entering their relevant fieldwork. This study aims to determine how significant students' perceptions in following industrial work practice in the school is to increase students' work interests. In this condition, industrial work practice has switched from industry to collaborative project-based learning in the school. This study investigates whether industrial work practice in the school environment has the same influence on student work interests as before the pandemic. The sample uses a total sample or census with a total of 26 students from DPIB majors. Data was collected using an online questionnaire. This research using a simple linear regression analysis technique. The results showed (1) students' perceptions of participating in industrial work practices in the environment school are in the very good category. (2) Students' interest in work after participating in industrial work practice in the school environment is classified as very high. (3) There is a positive and significant influence from students' perceptions in following industrial work practices in the school environment on the working interest of DPIB students at SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang during the covid-19 pandemic. These results can used as consideration for schools in managing a more mature industrial work practice program regarding overcoming the effect of the covid-19 pandemic such as involving the internet and virtual technologies in order to continue to cooperate with the industry.
