Abstract
Makian dimanfaatkan untuk mengekspresikan berbagai hal seperti ketidaksenangan, kebencian, ketidakpuasan, keakraban, dan seruan. Bangsa Indonesia, khususnya suku Jawa, sangat memperhatikan tata krama dalam pergaulan. Namun, ada kalanya terpaksa harus berkata kasar untuk melampiaskan kekesalan atau kemarahan perasaannya melalui ungkapan makian disebut pisuhan. Begitu pula pada masyarakat Jepang yang terkenal dengan nilai etika dan sopan. Makian dalam bahasa Jepang semakin bertambah dengan diserapnya bahasa asing dan ritme kehidupan yang menuntut untuk serba cepat. Makian dapat dicermati dari media audio visual seperti film. Film drama Jepang Great Teacher Onizuka dan film Indonesia berbahasa Jawa Yowis Ben menjadi objek dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif yang berfokus pada analisis penggunaan ungkapan makian berdasarkan klasifikasi bentuk kebahasaan, fungsi, dan referensinya. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dari kedua objek. Data dikaji dengan analisis kontrastif untuk memperlihatkan ketidaksamaan dan membandingkan dengan cara mengamati perbedaan-perbedaan di antara dua atau lebih bahasa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak yang diwujudkan dengan teknik sadap. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penggunaan teknik Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC). Sebagai data tulis, peneliti melakukan transkripsi untuk mencatat kata-kata makian yang ditemukan. Selanjutnya peneliti mengkaji dialog mana saja yang mengandung kata makian dan mengontrastifkannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kata makian berbentuk berbentuk klausa tidak ditemukan, hanya kata dan frasa pada kedua objek penelitian. Konteks makian agresif dengan fungsi abusif lebih banyak digunakan dan dengan referensi keadaan. Pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam drama GTO lebih banyak terjadi atas maksim pelaksanaan, sedangkan dalam film YB lebih banyak terjadi atas maksim kuantitas. Pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan dalam drama Great Teacher Onizuka lebih banyak terjadi atas maksim kesimpatian, sedangkan dalam film Yowis Ben lebih banyak terjadi atas maksim kesetujuan. Contrastive Analysis of Curse Expressions in Japanese and Javanese Mochammad Fredy 1907264 ABSTRACT Swearing is used to express various things such as displeasure, hatred, dissatisfaction, intimacy, and exclamation. The Indonesian people, especially the Javanese, are very concerned about manners in social interactions. However, there are times when you are forced to speak harshly to vent your feelings or angers through swear words which is called pisuhan in Javanese. Likewise, Japanese people are known as for its ethical and polite values. Swearing in Japanese are increasing in line with the absorption of foreign languages and their rhythm of life that demands to be fast-paced. Swearing can be observed from audio-visual media such as films. The Japanese drama movie Great Teacher Onizuka and the Indonesian movie in Javanese Yowis Ben are the objects of this research. The research is conducted in a qualitative descriptive method, which focused on analyzing the use of swearing expressions based on the classification of its forms, functions, and references. The research is also examined disobedience in language politeness principles between the both objects. The data are examined by contrastive analysis to show dissimilarities and to compare by observing the differences between two or more languages. The data are collected by using taping technique then advanced by using free speech and note-taking technique. As written data, the researcher did a transcription to record the swear words found. Then, the dialogues are examined by its swear words and contrasted. The results are swear words in the form of clauses are not found. It's only swear words in the form of words and phrases in the two objects. The swearing context of aggressive with abusive functions are more widely used along with the reference of conditions. Disobedience to the cooperative principle in the drama Great Teacher Onizuka is more common with the maxim of manners, while in the movie Yowis Ben it occurs more with the maxim of quantity. Disobedience of the politeness principle in the drama Great Teacher Onizuka mostly occur with the maxim of sympathy, while in the movie Yowis Ben, it occurs more with the maxim of agreement.
