Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan asesmen mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilimiah pada pokok bahasan biologi di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah 6 Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kota Bandung dengan tiga kategori berdasarkan hasil ujian nasional. Penentuan sampelnya menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan angket terkait pelaksanaan asesmen keterampilan mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah di masa pandemi. Angket dibagikan kepada siswa dan guru kelas 8 di sekolah yang dijadikan subyek. Analisis data pendukung seperti LKS (lembar kerja siswa), PH (penilaian harian), PTS (penilaian tengah semester), dan PAS (penilaian akhir semester) juga dilakukan untuk mendukung hasil angket. Hasil angket dan analisis dokumen soal diolah dengan menggunakan statistika deskriptif. Jawaban angket diubah dalam bentuk skala likert kemudian dibuat dalam bentuk persentase. Dokumen pendukung dalam bentuk soal dihitung soal yang sesuai dengan keterampilan mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah dan hasilnya diubah dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan asesmen keterampilan mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidiakan ilmiah di masa pandemi masih rendah di semua kategori sekolah. Terungkap bahwa pengalaman belajar tidak mendukung pelaksanaan asesmen tersebut di masa pandemi. Rendahnya keterlaksanaan pengalaman belajar disebabkan tidak memungkinkannya tatap muka secara langsung dan menyebabkan pembelajaran menjadi kurang efektif terlaksana. Asesmen yang digunakan guru masih berfokus pada konten dan masih sedikit yang mengujikan keterampilan mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah. This study aims to describe the implementation of skills assessments evaluating and designing scientific enquiry on biological subjects during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 6 junior high schools (SMP) in the city of Bandung with three categories based on the results of the national exam. Determination of the sample using stratified random sampling technique. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires related to the implementation of skills assessments to evaluate and design scientific investigations during the pandemic to 8th grade students and teachers at the schools that were the subject. Analysis of supporting data such as LKS (student worksheets), PH (daily assessment), PTS (mid-semester assessment), and PAS (end-of-semester assessment) were also carried out to support the results of the questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire and document analysis were processed using descriptive statistics. Questionnaire answers are converted into a Likert scale and then made in the form of a percentage. Supporting documents in the form of questions are calculated according to the skills of evaluating and designing scientific enquiry and the results are converted into percentages. The results showed that the implementation of skills assessments for evaluating and designing scientific enquiry during the pandemic was still low in all school categories. It was revealed that the learning experience did not support the implementation of the assessment during the pandemic. The low implementation of the learning experience is caused by not allowing face-to-face meetings directly causing learning to be less effective. The assessments used by teachers are still content-focused and few test the skills of evaluating and designing scientific enquiry.
