Abstract

Ketidakefektifan kompetensi interpersonal seperti kurangnya rasa empati, kurang mempertimbangkan hak orang lain, rasa cemas, bertindak di atas ancaman, dan terkekang dalam harapan merupakan hal yang mendasari dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui kompetensi interpersonal praja, masalah dirumuskan ke dalam pertanyaan penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) apakah terdapat perbedaan kompetensi interpersonal praja IPDN berdasarkan gender; (2) apakah terdapat perbedaan kompetensi interpersonal praja IPDN berdasarkan suku bangsa; (3) bagaimana rumusan program hipotetik bimbingan pribadi sosial untuk meningkatkan kompetensi interpersonal praja IPDN. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 2017 dan sampel 200, komposisi sampel 44 laki-laki dan 44 perempuan, pengambilan melalui teknik random sampling. Pengukuran melalui angket berbentuk rating-scale model skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kompetensi interpersonal praja IPDN angkatan XXIII tahun ajaran 2012/2013 berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan berdasarkan suku bangsa. Program bimbingan pribadi sosial dapat diimplementasikan pada praja IPDN tingkat muda praja untuk meningkatkan kompetensi interpersonal. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi interperpersonal, suku bangsa, Gender. Ineffectiveness of interpersonal competence as lack of empathy , lack of consideration the rights of others, anxiety , act on the threat , and is locked into the underlying expectations in this study . The study aims to determine the competence of the civil interpersonal , problem formulated in the following research questions : ( 1 ) whether there are differences in interpersonal competence civil IPDN by gender , (2 ) whether there are differences in interpersonal competence civil IPDN of race , (3 ) how the formulation of a hypothetical program socio personal guidance to improve interpersonal competence IPDN civil . The method used is descriptive quantitative approach . The study population as 2017 and 200 samples , the composition of the sample 44 men and 44 women , retrieval via random sampling technique . Measurement through a questionnaire rating- shaped scale Likert scale models . The results showed that there were no differences in interpersonal competence civil force IPDN XXIII school year 2012/2013 by gender and by ethnicity . Socio personal guidance program can be implemented at the level of civil IPDN young civil to improve interpersonal competence Keywords : Competence interperpersonal , ethnicity , gender .
