Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh layanan konseling yang efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter keberanian siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa MTs Al-Yusufiyah Garut dengan sample kelas 8 MTs Al-Yusufiah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner karakter keberanian, pretes-postes dan respon siswa terhadap implemetasi konseling analisis transaksional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor rata – rata nilai postes kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, dimana skor rata – rata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada skor rata – rata kelompok kontrol. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa bahwa implementasi dari konseling analisis transaksional efektif dalam meningkatkan keberanian siswa. Konseling analisis transaksional direkomendasikan untuk digunakan oleh konselor atau guru bimbingan dan konseling sebagai salah satu layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Khususnya dalam meningkatkan karakter keberanian. Purpose of this research is to get an effective counselling in improving students courageous. This study used a quantitative analysis method by using a quasi-experimental design. The population of the study was the student of the MTs Al-Yusufiyah Garut. The sample of the study was the eighth grade students. Data were collected through ‘courageous’ questionnaires, pretest-posttest and student questionnaire responses to the implementation of transactional analysis .The result from the research show that there was significant difference between the mean of control groups post – test and experimental group’s score, whereas mean of the experimental control groups post-test was higher than the mean of control group’s post-test. This mean that the implementation of transactional analysis was effective in improving student’s courageous. Result of the research is recommended for counsellor or teacher of guidance and counselling implement transactional analysis as one of technique guidance and counselling service. Specifically in improving courage character since it gives benefit to student’ courage character. Then, as for further study, the future are suggested to conduct further studying transactional analysis.
