Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan media wayang limbah menggunakan metode bercerita terhadap keterampilan sosial anak usia 4-5 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Single Subject Research (SSR) atau penelitian dengan subjek tunggal. Desain yang digunakan adalah A-B-A’ yaitu baselin 1, intervensi, dan baseline 2. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak usia 4-5 tahun di salah satu kecamatan Purwakarta yang mengalami kesulitan dalam keterampilan sosialnya yang baik dengan teman sebayanya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi. Penyajian hasil penelitian menggunakan grafik dan tabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan sosial pada anak sebelum dan setelah dilaksanakannya metode bercerita menggunakan wayang limbah sangat berbeda. Artinya, setelah pemberian treatmen metode bercerita menggunakan wayang limbah, keterampilan sosial anak mulai mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan sebelum diberikan treatmen, kemudian efektif untuk diberikan kepada anak usia 4-5 tahun. ----- This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the waste puppet media using the storytelling method on the social development of children aged 4-5 years. This type of research uses Single Subject Research (SSR) or research with a single subject. The design used is A-B-A ', namely baseline 1, intervention, and baseline 2. The subjects of this study were children aged 4-5 years in a Purwakarta sub-district who had difficulty socializing well with their peers. Collecting data using observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis using analysis in conditions and between conditions. Presentation of research results using graphs and tables.Based on the results of research that has been done, there is an increase in children's social skills. The results of the analysis show that the improvement of social skills in children before and after the implementation of the storytelling method using waste puppets is very different. That is, after giving the storytelling method of treatment using waste puppets, children's social skills began to increase compared to before being given treatment, then effective to be given to children aged 4-5 years.
