Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas tentang Penerapan Metode Peer Teaching Dalam Perkuliahan Pembelajaran Sains Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Evaluasi Mahasiswa Calon Guru PAUD terkait STEAM- PBL. Kemampuan evaluasi penting dimiliki oleh guru guna untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan pada pembelajaran serta melakukan perbaikan proses pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakter AUD. Maka untuk meningkatkan kemampuan evaluasi Mahasiswa calon guru PAUD terkait STEAM- PBL perlu dikaji lebih lanjut serta diberikan metode pembelajaran yang lebih sesuai, yakni metode Peer Teaching. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah Pre-Eksperimental Design yaitu One Group Pretest - Posttest Design. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan yakni tes tulis, guna untuk mengetahui kemampuan evaluasi mahasiswa melalui Pretest dan Posttest. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 orang, dengan jumlah laki-laki 2 orang dan 58 orang perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, menunjukan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan evaluasi mahasiswa dengan metode Peer Teaching. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor ; (1) Terciptanya lingkungan diskusi yang nyaman sehingga membangun keterampilan sosial emosional yang kondusif, (2) Mahasiswa diberikan kesempatan lebih banyak untuk menuangkan ide / gagasan di dalam RPPH, mendapatkan feedback secara intensif dari tutor, fleksibilitas proses diskusi dari segi waktu, pengumpulan tugas, sampai dengan Platform yang digunakan. ----- This thesis discusses the Application of Peer Teaching Methods in Science Learning Lectures to Improve the Evaluation Ability of Prospective PAUD Teacher Students related to STEAM-PBL. It is important for teachers to have evaluation skills in order to identify difficulties in learning and make improvements to the learning process in accordance with the character of AUD. So to improve the evaluation ability of prospective PAUD teacher students related to STEAM-PBL, it is necessary to study further and provide a more appropriate learning method, namely the Peer Teaching method. The research method used is Pre-Experimental Design, namely One Group Pretest - Posttest Design. The research instrument used is a written test, in order to determine the evaluation ability of students through Pretest and Posttest. The research sample was 60 people, with 2 men and 58 women. Based on the results of the research conducted, it showed a significant increase in students' evaluation abilities using the Peer Teaching method. This is influenced by factors; (1) Creating a comfortable discussion environment so as to build conducive social emotional skills, (2) Students are given more opportunities to express ideas / ideas in the RPPH, get intensive feedback from tutors, flexibility in the discussion process in terms of time, task collection, up to the Platform used.
