Abstract

Kedisiplinan merupakan komponen sekolah yang erat hubungaannya dengan kerajinan siswa dalam aktivitas penjas di sekolah. Dalam proses pembelajaran penjas hampir seluruh guru memakai gaya mengajar komando, penelitian ini menggunakan gaya mengajar penemuan terbimbing atau guided discovery untuk mengetahui tingkat disiplin siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1. Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan disiplin siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah mendapatkan gaya mengajar guided discovery. 2. Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan disiplin siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah mendapatkan gaya mengajar komando. 3. Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan disiplin siswa antara yang memperoleh gaya mengajar Guided Discovery dan gaya mengajar komando di SMAN 1 Kedokanbunder Indramayu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi yang ditentukan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kedokanbunder Indramayu sebanyak 54 orang yang hanya terdiri dari 2 kelas. Didalam pemelitian ini peneliti menggunakan sampel purposive, sehingga sampel yang diambil dari kedua kelas tersebut yang menjadi kelas eksperimen dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPS terdiri dari 27 orang dan kelas XI IPA terdiri dari 27 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggunakan perhitungan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai t hitung kelas eksperimen sebesar 7,5373 dan nilai t hitung kelas kontrol sebesar 2,0555 dan nilai t hitung perbedaan pengaruh antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol sebesar 2,5361 dengan nilai t tabel sebesar 2,0066. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelas eksperimen lebih besar pengaruhnya terhadap disiplin siswa dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Discipline is one of the school components which has a strong relationship with students’ diligent on the physical activity at school. Almost all teachers use the commanded teaching style on the learning process of physical education, this research uses guided discovery to know the level of students’ discipline. The purposes of this research are: 1. To know whether there is any differences on students’ discipline by guided discovery teaching method. 2. To know whether there is any differences on students’ discipline commanded teaching style. 3. To know whether there is any differences on students’ who are taught by discovery teaching style and commanded teaching style to the students’ discipline. The method used in this research is experimental method. The population are 54 students of grade XI in SMA Negeri 1 Kedokanbunder Indramayu which are taken from two classes. In this research, the researcher uses the purposive sample, so that the sample which are taken from the two classes become the experimental class, grade XI IPS which consists of 27 students, and class control, grade XI IPA which consist of 27 students. The result of this research uses the calculation of hypothesis examination using t-test. Based on the result, the t score of experimental class is 7,5373 and t score of class control is 2,0555 and t score of the differences in the influence between the experimental class and class control is 2,5361 with the t table score is 2,0066. Thus it can be concluded that the experimental class has a bigger influence to the students’ discipline rather than class control.
