Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu bentuk media pembelajaran yaitu simulasi laboratorium visual yang dikembangkan oleh tim dari universitas Colorado Amerika Serikat. Pada observasi awal diketahui bahwa belum adanya media pembelajaran berbasis simulasi laboratorium virtual di SMKN 2 Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan menurut para pakar dan persepsi peserta didik mengenai media pembelajaran berbasis simulasi laboratorium virtual untuk SMK pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika (DLE) menyesuaikan dengan kurikulum yang belaku di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 guru sebagai ahli materi, 8 guru sebagai ahli media, dan 42 siswa kelas X Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik SMKN 2 Tasikmalaya tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan nilai kelayakan media menurut para guru dari aspek kualitas materi sebesar 91,6%, penyajian sebesar 88,33%, dan bahasa 88,05%. Dan 97,6% peserta didik merespon sangat baik terhadap media pembelajaran. Dengan demikian simulasi laboratorium visual dapat dakategorikan sangat layak diterapkan dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar. ABSTRACT One form of learning media is a visual laboratory simulation developed by a team from the University of Colorado in the United States. In the initial observation, it was known that there was no virtual laboratory simulation-based learning media at SMKN 2 Tasikmalaya. This study aims to determine the feasibility according to experts and students' perceptions of virtual laboratory simulation-based learning media for Vocational High Schools in Basic Electrical and Electronics (DLE) subjects according to the applicable curriculum in Indonesia. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were 5 teachers as material experts, 8 teachers as media experts, and 42 students of class X Electrical Power Installation Engineering at SMKN 2 Tasikmalaya for the 2020/2021 academic year. The results of this study obtained the value of media feasibility according to the teachers from the aspect of material quality of 91.6%, presentation of 88.33%, and language of 88.05%. And 97.6% of students responded very well to the learning media. Thus the visual laboratory simulation can be categorized as very feasible to be applied in supporting the teaching and learning process.
