Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar masih belum maksimal dalam pencapaian nilai di sekolah dasar, siswa kurang keberanian untuk bertanya dan mengungkapkan ide pada pembelajaran hal tersebut menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Tujuan penelitian yakni mendeskripsikan pengaruh pelaksanaan pembelajaran Quantum Learning tipe Visualization-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPA. Metode penelitian yaitu Single Subject Research (SSR) tipe A-B dan subjek yang diteliti lima (MR, SS, RN, AA, dan SR). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Quantum Learning tipe Visualization-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Subjek MR dan Subjek SS mengalami perubahan positif (+) sebesar 32. Subjek RN dengan perubahan positif (+) sebesar 44 poin. Subjek AA mengalami perubahan positif (+) sebesar 24. Subjek SR mengalami perubahan positif (+) sebesar 20 poin. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Quantum Learning tipe Visualization-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPA. ----- Science learning in elementary schools is still not optimal in achieving grades in elementary schools, students lack the courage to ask questions and express ideas in learning this causes the students' low ability to understand concepts. The research objective is to describe the effect of the implementation of Quantum Learning type Visualization-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) learning on the ability to understand science concepts. The research method is Single Subject Research (SSR) type A-B and five subjects were studied (MR, SS, RN, AA, and SR). The results showed that there was an effect of the Quantum Learning model type Visualization-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) on the ability to understand concepts. MR subjects and SS subjects experienced a positive (+) change of 32 points. RN subjects with a positive (+) change of 44 points. AA subjects experienced a positive (+) change of 24. SR subjects experienced a positive (+) change of 20 points. It can be concluded that the Quantum Learning model of the Visualization-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) type has an influence on the ability to understand science concepts.
