Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif serta pentingnya hal tersebut dalam proses pembelajaran. Kehadiran pandemik Covid-19 dan berbagai permasalahan pendidikan yang terkendala letak geografi ataupun faktor-faktor lain menuntut dilaksanakannya pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ). Project Based Learning (PjBL) merupakan model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada proses penemuan konsep melalui aktivitas dan produk yang dihasilkan. Pada penelitian ini Zoom Clouds Meeting dan Google Classroom digunakan sebagai aplikasi synchronous dan asynchronous. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi project based learning (PjBL) synchronous dan asynchronous terhadap penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA pada materi sistem ekskresi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasy experiment dengan desain penelitian Non-equivalent multiple group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI MIPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 (Synchronous) dan siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 (Asynchronous) di SMAN 24 Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal pretest dan posttest berupa soal pilihan ganda untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep siswa dan soal uraian untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif antara kelas PjBL Synchronous dan kelas PjBL Asynchronous. This research was based on lack of concept mastery and creative thinking skills and the importance of these in the learning process. The presence of the Covid-19 pandemic and various educational problems constrained by geographic location or other factors require distance learning (PJJ) to be implemented. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is a learning model that emphasizes the concept discovery process through activities and products produced. In this research, Zoom Clouds Meeting and Google Classroom are used as synchronous and asynchronous applications. This research goal to analyze the implementation of synchronous and asynchronous project based learning (PjBL) on mastery of concepts and creative thinking skills of high school students on the excretory system material. The research method was used is a quasi-experimental research design with Non-equivalent multiple group design. This research was conducted on students of class XI MIPA 5 as experimental class 1 (Synchronous) and students of class XI MIPA 4 as experimental class 2 (Asynchronous) at SMAN 24 Bandung. The instruments used are pretest and posttest questions in the form of multiple choice questions to measure students' mastery of concepts and essay questions to measure creative thinking skills. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. The results shows that there was no difference in the improvement of concept mastery and creative thinking skills between Synchronous PjBL and Asynchronous PjBL classes.
