    Abstract

    Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya adaptabilitas karir peserta didik pada masa transisi karir. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui efektivitas program bimbingan karir di sekolah untuk meningkatkan adaptabilitas peserta didik SMA. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi ekperimen dan bentuk Pretest–Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X Tahun Ajaran 2013-2014 di lingkungan pendidikan Kabupaten Bandung khususnya pada tingkat satuan pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Atas dengan sampel 7 sekolah pelaksana Kurikulum 2013. Pengumpulan data menggunakan inventori adaptasi karir. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan secara umum peserta didik kelas X Tahun Ajaran 2013-2014 di wilayah Kabupaten Bandung memiliki klasifikasi adaptabilitas karir “Sedang” dalam tingkat respon adaptasi dan “Tinggi” dalam batas kemampuan melakukan adaptasi karir. Output penelitian menghasilkan program bimbingan karir dalam meningkatkan adaptabilitas karir peserta didik. Rekomendasi berupa pentingnya aplikasi program bimbingan karir yang feasible kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling/konselor sekolah dan peneliti selanjutnya.

    The research is motivated by the lack of career adaptability of students in career transition . The purpose of the research is to find the effectivity of career guidance program to improve the adaptability of high school students. The approach used in the study is a quantitative research to the method of quasi-experimental and pretest -posttest design . The study population is a tenth grade students in the 2013-2014 school year at educational environment Bandung regency, especially at the level of high school education unit with 7 samples of schools implementing Curriculum 2013. Data collection using a inventory of careers adaptation. In general class X students in the 2013-2014 school year at district of Bandung show a "Medium" classification career adaptability in a response rate of adaptation and "High" classification within the limits of adaptation. The research produce outputs career guidance programs and it effectiveness in improving career adaptability of the student. Recommendations presented the applications of importance career guidance program that is feasible to the guidance teacher/school counselor and also further research.
