Abstract

Mutu pendidikan, sangat dipengaruhi oleh berhasil atau tidaknya proses pendidikan yang selama ini dikembangkan oleh pemerintah dan organisasi sosial kemasyarakatan maupun keagamaan yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan. Salah satu faktor yang penting dalam pencapaian pendidikan yang bermutu adalah kinerja mengajar para guru. Kinerja mengajar guru dapat diukur dengan beberapa indikator diantaranya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru dalam mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru SMP Muhammadiyah Se-Kotamadya Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melalui teknik analisis data korelasional dan regresi dengan menggunakan statistik parametrik. Data diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru SMP Muhammadiyah se-Kotamadya Bandung yang berjumlah 208 orang, dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 68 orang guru. Dari hasil analisis data diketahui pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja mengajar guru, pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru, serta pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru SMP Muhammadiyah se-Kotamadya Bandung berkriteria kuat. Kesimpulannya, kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru berpengaruh kuat terhadap kinerja mengajar guru SMP Muhammadiyah se-Kotamadya Bandung. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Visioner, Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Education quality is influenced with the success or failure of the educational process which has been developed by goverment, social organizations and religious organizations that concern in the education. One of the important factor in the achievement of quality education is the teaching performance of teachers. Teacher's teaching performance can be measured by several indicators, including the principal's leadership in this research focused on the principal visionary leadership and motivation of teachers in teaching. The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of the principal visionary leadership and motivation of teachers to the teacher's teaching performance SMP Muhammadiyah in Bandung municipality. The method used is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach, through the technique of correlation and regression analysis of the data using parametric statistics. Data retrieved by using the questionnaire. Population in this research is the teachers of SMP Muhammadiyah in Bandung Municipality amounting to 208 people, with 68 people total sample of teachers. From the analysis of the data found the principal visionary leadership influence on the performance of teachers to teach, influence work motivation of teachers to teaching performance of teachers, as well as the influence of the principal visionary leadership and motivation of teachers to the teacher's teaching performance of SMP Muhammadiyah Bandung Municipality have strong criteria. In conclusion, the principal visionary leadership and motivation of teachers strongly affected the teacher's teaching performance of SMP Muhammadiyah Bandung municipality.
