Abstract

Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan proses pembelajaran tidak optimal sehingga tujuan pendidikan jasmani khususnya pembelajaran senam tidak tercapai, salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya penggunaan media alat bantu pembelajaran dalam proses belajar senam. Dengan penggunaan media alat bantu diharapkan hasil belajar senam akan meningkat dan tujuan pembelajaran akan tercapai secara optimal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas VIII berjumlah 34. Penentuan besar sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus Federer. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan tes keterampilan senam menurut Arkaev, Suchilin (2009:313). Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata satu pihak atau uji t. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data hasil pengujian hipotesis data skor penggunaan media alat bantu dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05, didapat nilai thitung = 11,823 nilai tersebut lebih besar dari nilai ttabel = 2,473, karena nilai thitung > ttabel maka Ho ditolak sehingga H1 yaitu penggunaan media alat bantu terhadap hasil belajar senam. Jadi kesimpulanya bahwa penggunaan media alat bantu terhadap hasil belajar senam lebih efektif pengaruhnya dari pada tanpa penggunaan media alat bantu terhadap hasil belajar senam di SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Kata kunci : Penggunaan Media Alat Bantu, Pembelajaran Senam Many factors leading to the process of learning to be not optimal so that the objective of physical education, specially gymnastic learning, has been not achieved, one of the causes is the lack of the use of aid media for learning in the process of gymnastic learning. By using the aid media, it is expected that the result of gymnastic learning will be improved and the objective of learning will be achieved optimally. The research method used is an experimental one, the research design is Pretest-Posttest Design. The research population are the students of Lower Secondary School of Sampling Laboratory of UPI. The research sample of Grade-III students amounts at 34. The determination of the sample size has been carried out by using Federer’s formula. The research Instrument used is a gymnastic skill test according to menurut Arkaev, Suchilin (2009:313). The hypothetic test of research used an average-two similarity test of one party or t test. Based on the result of data processing of the result of hypothetic testing the score data of the use of aid media with significance level α = 0,05, it has been obtained the value of t count = 11,823 the value is larger than the value of t table = 2,473, because the value of t count > t table then Ho is rejected so that H1 is the use of aid media for the result of gymnastic learning. So it can be concluded that the use of aid media for the result of gymnastic learning is more effective in its influence than without using the aid media for the result of gymnastic learning at Lower Secondary School of Sampling Laboratory of UPI.
