Abstract
Penelitian ini dioriontasikan terhadap pembelajaran pada Standar Kompetensi Menerapkan Dasar- Dasar Elektronika . Proses pembelajaran biasa menggunakan media pembelajaran terbatas, sehingga media pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang bervariasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan yaitu dengan digunakannya e-book sebagai media pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tentang penggunaan e-book sebagai media pembelajaran ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif. Tempat penelitian di SMK N 1 Cimahi dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 31 siswa dan waktu yang digunakan untuk pelaksanaan penelitian selama satu bulan yakni pada bulan Oktober 2012. Obyek penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran berbasis komputer dengan memanfatkan e-book dilengkapi dengan modul pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental (one group pretest-posttest design). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan soal pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif. Hal tersebut dapat ditunjukkan dari hasil rata-rata pretest siswa adalah 58,83 sedangkan rata-rata perolehan nilai posttest siswa adalah 84,09. Sehingga diperoleh rata-rata gain siswa sebesar 25,27%. Dengan adanya gain hasil belajar siswa untuk ranah kognitif lebih besar dari 25%. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan e-book sebagai media pembelajaran dapat dikatakan efektif dan berkategori sedang. One of the efforts is to use an e-book as a learning medium. The purpose of this study was to describe the use of the e-book as a medium of learning in terms of student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. Religious studies at SMK N 1 Cimahi the total sample of 31 students and the time spent on the implementation of the research for one month in October 2012. The object of this study in the form of computer-based learning media to take advantage of the e-book comes with a learning module. The method used is quantitative method with pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest design). The instruments used in data collection is using about pretest and posttest. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. It can be shown from the results of the average pretest students is 58.83 while the average student grades posttest was 84.09. To obtain an average gain of 25.27% of students. With the gain in student learning outcomes for cognitive greater than 25%. Therefore, the use of e-books as a medium of learning can be effective and is being categorized.
