Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen tes piktorial pilihan ganda yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur dimensi pengetahuan siswa pada materi kekuatan asam basa yang memenuhi kriteria tes baik ditinjau dari validitas isi, validitas empiris, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, tingkat kesukaran dan analisis distraktor (pengecoh). Adapun dimensi pengetahuan yang dapat diukur yaitu dimensi pengetahuan faktual, pengetahuan konseptual dan pengetahuan prosedural, sedangkan dimensi pengetahuan metakognitif tidak dapat diukur menggunakan instrumen tes yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada metode pengembangan. Partisipan yang terlibat adalah 8 ahli pada bidang Pendidikan dan bidang kimia serta 26 peserta didik kelas XI di salah satu SMA Negeri kota Bandung yang telah mempelajari materi kekuatan asam basa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes piktorial pilihan ganda sebanyak 16 soal pada materi kekuatan asam basa, dengan hasil uji yang menunjukkan: (1) validasi isi yang diolah menggunakan metode CVR dinyatakan valid; (2) sebagian besar butir soal dengan validasi empiris yang diolah menggunakan metode Pearson dinyatakan valid, (3) reliabilitas yang diolah dengan teknik Kuder-Richardson 20 dinyatakan reliabel dengan tingkat reliabilitas tinggi; (4) sebagian besar butir soal menunjukkan daya beda dalam kategori baik; (5) sebagian besar distraktor soal berfungsi dengan baik; (6) sebagian butir soal menunjukkan tingkat kesukaran dalam kategori mudah. Hal ini menunjukkan instrumen tes piktorial pilihan ganda yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria baik. Untuk hasil pengukuran dimensi pengetahuan siswa pada pengetahuan faktual dan konseptual berturut-turut 17% dan 73,9%. Kata Kunci: Dimensi Pengetahuan, Kekuatan Asam Basa, Tes Piktorial. ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a multiple-choice pictorial test instrument that can be used to measure the dimensions of students' knowledge of the acid-base strength material that meets the test criteria in terms of content validity, empirical validity, reliability, discriminatory power, level of difficulty and distractor analysis. The dimensions of knowledge that can be measured are the dimensions of factual knowledge, conceptual knowledge and procedural knowledge, while the dimensions of metacognitive knowledge cannot be measured using the developed test instrument. The research method used refers to the development method. The participants involved were 8 experts in the field of Education and chemistry and 26 students of class XI at one of senior highschool in Bandung city who had studied the material on the strength of acids and bases. The results of this study are multiple choice pictorial test instruments with 16 questions on acid-base strength, with test results showing: (1) content validation processed using the CVR method is declared valid; (2) most of the items with empirical validation processed using the Pearson method were declared valid, (3) the reliability processed using the Kuder-Richardson 20 technique was declared reliable with a high level of reliability; (4) most of the items show differentiating power in the good category; (5) most of the question distractors function well; (6) some items show the level of difficulty in the easy category. This shows that the multiple-choice pictorial test instrument developed meets the criteria well. For the results of measuring the dimensions of student knowledge on factual and conceptual knowledge, respectively, 17% and 73.9%.
