Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif berjudul “Penerapan Peer Assessment untuk Menilai Poster sebagai Produk Berpikir Kreatif pada Materi Sistem Saraf” ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menilai siswa SMA terhadap poster sebagai produk berpikir kreatif temannya, perbandingan penilaian oleh siswa dan guru, hasil penilaian poster, serta kendala dan tanggapan siswa dalam penerapan peer assessment. Subjek pada penelitian ini diambil dengan cara cluster random sampling dan dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2012-2013 sebanyak 32 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian poster oleh siswa dan guru observer, angket siswa, dan pedoman wawancara guru. Pada umumnya, siswa memiliki kemampuan menilai yang baik (81%). Tidak ada perbedaan antara penilaian yang diberikan oleh siswa dan penilaian oleh guru observer. Umumnya, poster siswa memiliki rata-rata nilai 88 menurut peer assessment sedangkan menurut guru observer adalah 81 yang termasuk ke dalam kategori baik sekali. Kendala yang dialami siswa saat melakukan peer assessment dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa merasa takut salah sehingga siswa merasa kesulitan dalam menilai poster. Siswa menunjukkan tanggapan yang positif terhadap penerapan peer assessment untuk menilai poster sebagai produk berpikir kreatif. Kata Kunci: peer assessment, kemampuan menilai, poster, produk kreatif, materi sistem saraf This descriptive study that have title “Using Peer Assessment for Grading Poster As A Creative Thinking Product in Nerve System Subject” propose to describe the assessment ability of student high school’s toward poster as creative thinking product of their peer, the comparison of teacher and students grading, and the student’s obstacle and perception about using peer assessment. Subject of this study is XI grade student in one of Bandung city high school 2012-2013 year learning as many as 32 students and taken by cluster random sampling. The instruments that using in this study are poster assessment sheet of student and observer teacher, student’s questionnaire, and teacher interview handbook. Most of students have good ability in assessment (81%). Statistically, there are no differences between mean of student’s grading and mean of teacher observer’s grading. Most of students’ posters have mean 88 according peer assessment and 81 according teacher observers in which means very well category. The obstacle of students when using peer assessment is student was afraid to wrong in assess the poster so that they difficult to assess. But, students have positive perception toward using peer assessment to grade poster as creative thinking product. Keyword: peer assessment, assessment ability, creative product, nerve system subject
