Abstract

Nilai sosial yang tumbuh, berkembang, dan mengalami perubahan dalam mayarakat adalah hasil dari harapan dan keinginan masyarakat untuk hidup dalam damai dan dalam keteraturan. Salah satu nilai yang lekat dengan kehidupan bermasyarakat termasuk dalam kehidupan masyarakat petani kentang di hikmah farm desa margamukti adalah adanya perbedaan peran antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini mengupas secara mendalam mengenai persepsi masyarakat petani kentang terhadap perbedaan peran dalam pertanian juga mengenai faktor pendorong adanya persepsi-persepsi yang berbeda mengenai fenomena perbedaan peran tersebut. Perbedaan peran berdasarkan jenis kelamin dalam pertanian berimplikasi pada perbedaan upah yang diperoleh oleh para pekerjanya. .penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Sebagian kecil buruh perempuan menganggap bahwa mereka sebenarnya merasa diperlakukan sedikit tidak adil atas adanya perbedaan peran berdasarkan gender karena perbedaan tersebut berimplikasi pada perbedaan hak atau upah yang mereka peroleh, padahal mereka merasa mampu dan mau jika diberi kesempatan untuk memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab yang sama dengan para buruh laki-laki, namun sebagian yang lain beranggapan bahwa perbedaan peran yang mereka peroleh adalah kebijakan yang telah diatur oleh para pengelola perusahaan pertanian tempat mereka bekerja berdasarkan pertimbangan yang matang untuk kepentingan para pekerja, untuk memenuhi harapan masyarakat luas dalam memenuhi nilai kepantasan dan penghormatan terhadap kaum perempuan serta untuk menjaga stabilitas produksi perusahaan pertanian yang bersangkutan. Abstract : Public Perception of Potato Growers to Differences in The Role of Agriculture in Rural Districts Margamukti Pangalengan. Values are grow , develop and change in society is the result of expectations and people’s desire to live in peace and in order. One of the values inherent in the life of society, including in the public life of potato growers in the farm village margamukti wisdom is the difference in roles between men and woman. This study explores in depth about the public perception of potato growers to differences in the role of agriculture, also regarding the factors driving their different perceptions of the phenomenon of the role differences. Differencesbased on gender roles in agriculture have implications for differences in wages earned by workers. This study shows that a smallpercentage of women workers consider that they actually felt a little unfairly treated on the differences in the roles based on gender because of these differences have implications for the differences in the rights or wages they earn, when they feel able and willing if given the opportunity to be given duties and responsibilities similar to the male workers, but others think that the differences in the roles thay they get is a policy that is set by the managers of agricultural enterprises in wich they work is based on careful consideration of the interest of workers, to meet the expectations of the wider community in fulfilling the values of decency and respect for women, also as well as to maintain the stability of the company’s production agriculture is concerned.
