Abstract

Renang merupakan mata ajar yang termasuk kedalam ruang lingkup KTSP 2006, aktivitas renang pada pembelajaran Penjas memerlukan pada kondisi yang menunjang, aspek psikologis bisa menunjang proses pembelajaran, namun seperti kecemasan, ketakutan dan motivasi rendah akan menimbulkan dampak sebaliknya. Masalah penelitian untuk mengungkap sejauh mana keterkaitan antara kecemasan dengan hasil belajar renang. Metode penelitian adalah, penelitian korelasional yang mengkaitkan tingkat kecemasan dan hasil belajar renang, sample dan populasi seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 1 Cisarua Kabupaten Bandung Barat, instrumen yang dipakai menggunakan angket untuk kecemasan dan hasil 30 orang belajar dengan menggunakan tes performa. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data penelitian, rata-rata hasil kecemasan siswa 60% dan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,977, tingkat kecemasan siswa berkorelasi erat dengan hasil belajar renang. Simpulan hasil penelitian bahwa kecemasan berkorelasi positif terhadap hasil belajar renang, kecemasan dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar renang. Swimming is one of the lessons included into scope of KTSP 2006, swimming activity on the PE lesson requires a supportive condition, psychology aspects can be one of the most supporting aspects in learning process, hence there are issues which have to be considered serious, such as anxiety, fear and lack of motivation which will cause a contradictory output. The research methodology used was correlative research which correlated the level of anxiety with the swimming lesson output, the sample and population were the students of SMP Negeri 1 Cisarua Kabupaten Bandung Barat, the instrument used was questionnaire about the level of anxiety and 30 students used performance test. Based on the result of research data processing, the average of anxiety resulted of 60% students and the correlation coefficient 0,977, the level of student’s anxiety correlated closely with the output of swimming lesson. The conclusion of the research indicated that anxiety correlated positively with the result of swimming lesson, anxiety can predispose the output of swimming lesson.
