Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi sebuah fenomena yang dihadapi oleh peserta didik SMA dalam orientasi karir. Oleh sebab itu, permasalahan utama yang menjadi fokus kajian penelitian adalah media informasi seperti apa yang diperlukan siswa untuk memantapkan orientasi karir siswa kelas X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sedangkan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Data yang digunakan untuk mengungkap orientasi karir siswa dikumpulkan melalui instrumen nontes berupa angket model likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS for Windows versi 20.0. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistika non-parametrik. Penelitian ini menghasilkan: 1) profil umum orientasi karir siswa kelas X SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2012/2013; 2) profil orientasi karir siswa kelas X SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung berdasarkan klaster; 3) pengembangan media informasi KBJI berbasis PHP untuk memantapkan orientasi karir siswa; dan 4) program hipotetik bimbingan karir untuk memantapkan orientasi karir siswa SMA. Adapun rekomendasi hasil penelitian ini diberikan kepada: 1) Jurusan Psikologi Pendidikan dan Bimbingan; 2) guru bimbingan dan konseling; dan 3) peneliti selanjutnya. Kata kunci: karir; orientasi karir; informasi pekerjaan. Research backed a phenomenon faced by high school students in career orientation. Therefore, the main issues are the focus of research is the media information such as what is needed for students to strengthen their career orientation. The method used is descriptive method. While the approach used in this study is quantitative research subjects class X SMA Negeri Bandung as the academic year 2012/2013. The data used to reveal the students' career orientations are collected through a questionnaire instrument nontes Likert models . Data were analyzed using SPSS for Windows version 20.0. Analysis using non-parametric statistics. This research resulted in: 1) the general profile career orientation class X SMA Negeri Bandung as the academic year 2012/2013; 2) profile career orientation class X SMA Negeri Bandung by a cluster; 3) development of PHP-based media information of KBJI to strengthen students 'career orientation; and 4) a hypothetical program of career guidance to strengthen career orientation of students. The recommendations given to the results of this study: 1) Department of Educational Psychology and Guidance; 2) teacher of guidance and counseling; and 3) further research.
