Abstract

Pendidikan Karakter merupakan salah satu wilayah kajian yang terintegrasi di dalam keilmuan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Setiap bangsa memerlukan pendidikan karakter dalam rangka memelihara serta mempertahankan eksistensinya. Adapun salah satu nilai karakter yang penting dimiliki individu di era abad 21 saat ini ialah karakter tanggung jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) pelaksanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter melalui Kurikulum Kepemimpinan Sekolah Alam, 2) implikasi Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter melalui Kurikulum Kepemimpinan Sekolah Alam dalam membentuk karakter tanggung jawab, 3) hambatan dan upaya yang dihadapi sekolah dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui kurikulum kepemimpinan untuk membentuk karakter tanggung jawab. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter di Sekolah Dasar Alam Al-Karim Lampung dilaksanakan melalui proses habituasi, serta melalui pembangunan kemitraan yang melibatkan tripusat pendidikan. 2) Program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter melalui Kurikulum Kepemimpinan memiliki dampak terhadap karakter tanggung jawab siswa yang tercermin dalam aktifitas siswa baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun di luar sekolah. 3) Adapun hambatan yang ada ialah kompetensi guru yang bervariasi serta belum memenuhi kecakapan dalam melaksanakan program pembelajaran yang ada di Sekolah Alam, serta terbatasnya partisipasi aktif keluarga dalam setiap proses penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh sekolah yaitu dengan mengadakan pelatihan intensif kompetensi guru, serta membangun komunikasi dan sosialisasi yang aktif bersama orang tua siswa. ABSTRACT Character Education is one of the areas of study that is integrated in Citizenship Education science. Every nation needs character education in order to defend and maintain its existence, one of the important character values for individuals in the 21st era is the character of responsibility. This study aims to describe: 1) the implementation of Strengthening Character Education through the Natural School Leadership Curriculum, 2) the implications of Strengthening Character Education through the Nature School Leadership Curriculum in shaping the character of responsibility, 3) the obstacles and efforts that build schools in strengthening character education through the leadership curriculum. to form the character of responsibility. This research uses qualitative methods through a case study approach. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and analysis of documentation. The results showed: 1) The Character Education Strengthening Program at Alam Al-Karim Elementary School in Lampung was implemented through a habituation process, as well as through the development of partnerships that involved an educational trip center. 2) The Strengthening Character Education Program through the Leadership Curriculum has an impact on the character of the responsibility of students who are members of student activities both in the school environment and outside the school. 3) The obstacles that exist are the varied competences of teachers who do not yet meet the skills in implementing learning programs at the Nature School, and the limited active participation of families in every process of improving student character education Efforts are made by the school, namely by holding intensive teacher competency training, as well as building active communication and socialization with parents of students.
