Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kontribusi dari keberhasilan praktik kerja terhadap minat berwirausaha bidang otomotif pada mahasiswa D3 Teknik Mesin DPTM FPTK UPI, kemudian mengetahui peluang wirausaha bidang otomotif dimasa pandemi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan menggunakan desain penelitian ex post facto. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah D3 Teknik Mesin Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FPTK UPI yang telah melaksanakan mata kuliah Praktik Kerja, dengan menggunakan teknik sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah D3 Teknik Mesin Konsentrasi Otomotif Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FPTK UPI angkatan 2015, 2016 dan 2017 yang telah melaksanakan mata kuliah Praktik Kerja. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel X (keberhasilan praktik kerja) dan variabel Y (minat berwirausaha) pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapati bahwa terdapat kontribusi dari keberhasilan praktik kerja terhadap minat berwirausaha bidang otomotif pada D3 Teknik Mesin DPTM FPTK UPI. Korelasi keberhasilan praktik kerja terhadap minat berwirausaha tergolong dalam tingkat hubungan korelasi sedang. Peluang wirausaha bidang otomotif dimasa pandemi penjualan sparepart, service, interior dan washing, custom dan lainnya. Peluang ini didapatkan dari pengalaman mereka yang bekerja di bidang otomotif tahun 2020 yang terjadi di masa pandemi covid-19. The aims of this study are to determine the contribution of the successful work practices to the entrepreneurial interest of the automotive sector D3 study program of Mechanical Engineering DPTM FPTK UPI, then to find out the opportunities for entrepreneurship in the automotive sector during the pandemic. This research is a correlational study using an ex post facto research design. The population of this research is D3 Mechanical Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering Education FPTK UPI who has implemented work practices courses, using a sampling technique, that is purposive sampling. The sample used in this research is D3 Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Concentration, Majoring in Mechanical Engineering Education, FPTK UPI class of 2015, 2016 and 2017 which has implemented work practices courses. The instrument used to measure the variable X (successful work practices) and variable Y (entrepreneurial interest) in this study was a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research, it was found that there was a contribution from successful work practices to the entrepreneurial interest in the automotive sector at the D3 Mechanical Engineering DPTM FPTK UPI. The correlation from successful work practices to the entrepreneurial interest is classified to a moderate correlation level. The opportunities for entrepreneurship in the automotive sector during the pandemic sales of spare parts, service, interior and washing, custom, etc. This opportunity was obtained from the respondent's work experience of the automotive sector in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
